Oberlin College has filed its Brief appealing the $11 million compensatory and $33 million punitive damage verdicts (later reduced to $25 million under Ohio tort reform caps) won by Gibson's Bakery. The Bakery also has filed its Cross-Appeal Brief seeking reinstatement of the full punitive damages verdict.

It's been a few months since I've shared an update on Baby Walt, mainly thanks to the world shutting down and life changing suddenly and dramatically, though not necessarily badly. Walt turned 7 months old last week, which is hard to believe and also, truly miraculous.

Look, I'm all for free speech, mainly because it outs the racists and bigots so I know who to avoid. But Louis Farrakhan's racist and anti-Semitic views came out a long time ago and he needs to go away.

India has banned TikTok and other Chinese mobile apps on the grounds of national security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government blacklisted 59 China-based apps, calling them "malicious" tools that "harm India’s sovereignty as well as the privacy of our citizens."

I live in Oklahoma City. I have to say the riots we experienced were tame compared to other cities after the death of George Floyd, but riots and violence did happen. Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater decided to "get-tough" and charge some of the protesters with terrorism, rioting, and assault as a way to stop future riots.

I don't like Van Jones's politics, but I respect him for crossing the line when needed and saying the things that everyone needs to hear. The left first went after him when he dared to say that blacks need to worry more about the "white liberal Hillary Clinton supporter." Now they're attacking for having the nerve to work with President Donald Trump's administration on police reform.
