I'm back from California. In less than 72 hours on the ground, I packed in three important events, including a talk on campus free speech and culture for the Cornell and Harvard Clubs in Orange County, a panel appearance about anti-Israel activism on campuses at the national conference of Alums for Campus Fairness, and our Legal Insurrection Reader Reception.

President Donald Trump took to Twitter to continue celebrating his impeachment acquittal by the Senate. Trump made a series of predictions like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez primarying Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Republicans winning the Alabama Senate seat, and Rep. Jerry Nadler will lose to his primary opponent.

Crisis pregnancy center EMC Frontline filed a lawsuit against New York over the "Boss Bill," which forces nonprofits and religious institutions to hire people that do not share their views. The center claims the law violates its 1st and 14th Amendment rights.

Gregory William Loel Timm, 27,has been arrested in Jacksonville, Florida as a suspect involved in an incident in a Walmart parking lot.  According to reports, the suspect is believed to be the person who plowed into a Republican voter registration tent in which volunteers were registering people to vote.

Not stopping at imprisoning and torturing women for refusing to wear Sharia-mandated hijab, the Iranian regime is now cracking down on 'indecently dressed' mannequins in shops, the Iranian state-controlled media reported. Iranian police are screening shop windows for any violation of the Sharia dress-code and shutting down retailers found in violation. They also "warned online clothing retailers that display their products in an un-Islamic fashion," news reports say.
