Branco Cartoon – Play Ball

Comments

What I can’t figure out is why voters like this guy. Anybody?

He promises free stuff and that’s an aphrodisiac to the lefty base. But it’s still a loser position in the general and the dems know it. BTW, I don’t think Bernie really intended to win the primaries. He learned from the last go-round that the dnc will shell out big bucks to get rid of him so he’s just pushing up the buy-out price.

Not sure “free stuff” is a loser?

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to lichau. | February 10, 2020 at 12:24 pm

All that FREE STUFF comes with slave chains…….

Heard a discussion on the radio.. it went something like this,,, people with no money want free stuff. For the most part this is younger people. People with money, for the most part older people, do not want it taken away, these people can donate to campaigns. It made sense in a way.

Except that represents “EATING THE SEED CORN”
and NOT INVESTING ANYTHING for the Future…….

Only until it comes time to pay for it. The half that is picking up the tab at some point will revolt.

Just a thought: the Democrat establishment may oppose him because, were he to get the nomination, the “civil rights” groups, the churchless reverencs, Antifa, et al, will play the J-card.

I doubt the country would ever elect a Jewish president anyway, regardless of party or position.

His Jewishness is more cultural heritage thing than a faith thing for him.

He went to Moscow during the Cold War for his honeymoon. He did not go to Jerusalem!

I am not concerned about a dual loyalty to Israel for him, but rather his loyalty to Socialism over the Constitution.

You blockhead, Bernie Sanders!

Excellent adaptation, Mr. Branco.

Here’s how I see things playing out:
1. Bernie will win the NH Primary, Biden a distant fourth.
2. Buttigieg places second in NH.
3. Bloomberg grins and knows his path is clear
4. Biden and Bloomberg speak in private
5. Biden drops out and endorses Bloomberg
6. Warren drops out after Super Tuesday.
7. Klobuchar drops out too.
8. Becomes a race between Bernie and Mike and Pete.
9. Buttigieg eventually endorses Bloomberg.
10. Bernie refuses to endorse Mike
11. Bloomberg gets the nod at the convention.

Beyond that prediction, I’m not sure how the election itself plays out.

Whitewall in reply to EOS. | February 10, 2020 at 8:38 am

And the Left takes to the streets during the convention. 1968, I hope, all over again. Mike has bought the party but the Pure Left will not yield.

Agree 10000%. That’s why I feel Bloomberg doesn’t have a path to actual victory in November. There’s no way the Pure Left (good term) will vote for Mike. They’ll stay home. I don’t see Mike getting the black vote either. Nor the gun rights advocates.

This is how the election plays itself out:

    12. The Democrat nominee runs and loses in November.
    13. There is a lot of crying and denial.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to UserP. | February 10, 2020 at 10:15 am

      14. Riots and bombings.

After reading 200 or so posts from Bernie Bros on a free to view NYT video about the Iowa “steal” from Bernie, I’m not so sure.

        They have “no balls.”

They didn’t have any “righteous” anger at all!

They all came across as dopers just like Barrack……

walls in reply to EOS. | February 10, 2020 at 11:10 am

It wouldn’t surprise me to have a brokered convention that chooses Big Mike. That would potentially be a game changer.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to walls. | February 10, 2020 at 12:32 pm

Sure would be a game changer if Big Foot….er….Sasquatch…
er….You mean Michelle (Never been Proud of My Country in my Entire Life….)?

Almost all those government school children that Michelle tried to starve to death with her horridly corrupt “meals” are of voting age now. They will never forget such horrors!!!!!!

I still remember the absolute disaster of “Texas Hash” tried only once by the government school when I was in 7th or so. The recipe ingredients sound good, but whatever the government “cookers” did to it was terrible. They never cooked that again!

Trump’s road to another four years is looking better and better. The left is slowly starting to eat themselves alive. They have no real roster of canidates. They wasted three precious years focusing on their hate for Trump instead of concentrating on the real reason they were all elected. Power has corrupted them and it is not a curable disease. The rotting has begun, I can almost smell the stench.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to Nana Star. | February 10, 2020 at 12:33 pm

Obviously they made that “wrong choice” of hate and crime because it absolutely worked for them for DECADES!

They don’t even understand we are on a totally different landscape now.

    PLANET TRUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bernie said that if they will not let him play football, he will take is followers and go home.

EOS in reply to UserP. | February 10, 2020 at 9:42 am

And if I were Bernie or one of his followers, I’d do just that!!

His voters are, if nothing else, passionate. They saw Bernie cave to Hillary and they were furious. If Bernie is asked to play the DNC game rules and capitulate to, let’s say Mike for argument sake, Bernie will come out fighting. Or at least I hope he fights.

So many comments, all focused on Bernie. Anyone notice who mr Branco has holding the ball? That ain’t Bloomberg, Biden or anyone else “currently” in the race. Well played mr Branco.

It’s not that the DNC disagrees with anything Sanders is selling. They just wish he wasn’t so open about it.

Ha ha ha…..

Mr. Branco, just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the OBAMA t-shirt on Pelosi, or Hilary.

Just like Barrack stole the Iowa caucus from Hilary, and then went on to steal the DNC candidacy from Hilary, and the 2012 elecction…….
