It’s Pride Month, when people commemorate the Stonewall Uprising—a major turning point in the movement for gay rights. But for the Washington, D.C. Dyke March (a leftist, lesbian-centered and activism-focused alternative to traditional gay pride parades), that can mean only one thing: activists using "intersectionality" to excuse their own bigotry.

Newly-elected Denver city councilwoman Candi CdeBaca (D-CO) is making waves with her comments about our being in "late phase capitalism" and her strong belief in the "community ownership of land, labor, resources, and distribution of those resources."  She's so fervent in her belief that she goes on to say "I’m excited to usher it in by any means necessary."

British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has sided with U.S. President Donald Trump in his ongoing Twitter spat with London Mayor Sadiq Khan. Hunt said he "150 per cent" agreed with the U.S. President's comments on Khan. Present Trump had shared a tweet by the conservative British columnist Katie Hopkins highlighting rampant knife crime in London. "London needs a new mayor ASAP. Khan is a disaster -- will only get worse!" he commented on the tweet.

The massive compensatory and punitive damage jury verdicts in favor of Gibson's Bakery and its owners Allyn W. Gibson and David Gibson, against Oberlin College and Dean of Students Meredith Raimondo, continue to reverberate. This case is a big shock to the higher educational system and already is giving rise to a rethinking of the role of administrators in participating in student activism. Yet think of the jury verdict as the end of the beginning. The most legally dangerous territory for the Gibsons is ahead. The facts of the case were so strong for the Gibsons that in some ways the easiest part is behind them. Now they need to protect what they have earned from numerous legal dangers. As discussed below, in addition to other legal challenges, the defense will save millions under Republican tort reform laws, how many millions will be a fight.

Melissa and Aaron Klein, the Christian owners of a bakery in Oregon called "Sweet Cakes by Melissa" were thrown into a legal and media maelstrom several years ago when they declined to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple. They were ultimately ordered to pay over $100,000 to the couple and closed the bakery as a result.

As reported by Newsbusters, the acclaimed and highly popular Canadian professor Jordan Peterson is going to be launching a social media platform called ThinkSpot. The professor announced his plans to do so several months prior following the banning of British UKIP MP candidate Carl Benjamen (AKA Sargon of Akkad) from Patreon. As of this coming August, this new service will be available to the public as a subscription service.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has unveiled a new community in the Golan Heights named after U.S. President Donald Trump. The Israeli Prime Minister convened a cabinet meeting at the site on Sunday as part of the formal inauguration. U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, along with officials from the Golan region attended the ceremony renaming the neighborhood of Bruchim to "Ramat Trump," or "Trump Heights" in English.
