Hillary Clinton was confronted by a Greenpeace activist as to whether Hillary would reject donations from people in the fossil fuel industry. Hillary did not take it well. The pressure of several straight wins by Bernie Sanders is starting to wear on her. The Weekly Standard reports:
"I am so sick, I am so sick," Clinton says, shouting and wagging her finger at the activist, "of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I'm sick of it." Greenpeace explained the exchange, "At a Hillary Clinton rally at SUNY Purchase campus today, the presidential candidate lost her patience with a Greenpeace activist who thanked her for her commitment to climate change then asked her whether she'll reject fossil fuel money moving forward. Pointing her finger at activist Eva Resnick-Day, Clinton claimed she only takes money from people who work for fossil fuel companies and called the accusations lies."

Remedying individual wealth and income inequality is the central rallying cry of the Democratic Party and candidates, and progressive activists. Bernie Sanders has made wealth redistribution a centerpiece of his campaign, which is inspiring college students. Even Hillary Clinton, who along with her husband amassed a fortune in the tens of millions of dollars through speaking fees on campuses and for Wall Street, is singing the same tune. An award-winning news anchor lost her job after a Facebook post she made concerning a local murder in which no arrests were made. A WTAE-TV anchor for 18 years, Bell won 21 regional Emmy Awards. Bell wrote on her public Facebook page:
You needn't be a criminal profiler to draw a mental sketch of the killers who broke so many hearts two weeks ago Wednesday. I will tell you they live within 5 miles of Franklin Avenue and Ardmore Boulevard and have been hiding out since in a home likely much closer to that backyard patio than anyone thinks. They are young black men, likely teens or in their early 20s. They have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs. These boys have been in the system before. They've grown up there. They know the police. They've been arrested. They've made the circuit and nothing has scared them enough. Now they are lost. Once you kill a neighbor's three children, two nieces and her unborn grandson, there's no coming back. There's nothing nice to say about that.

In a CNN town hall Tuesday, Donald Trump disavowed the Republican loyalty pledge he signed in September. Trump's change of tune might cost him the 50 delegates he won in South Carolina. Zeke Miller reported for TIME:
The Palmetto State was one of several that required candidates to pledge their loyalty to the party’s eventual nominee in order to secure a slot on the primary ballot. Though Trump won all of the state’s delegates in the Feb. 20 primary, anti-Trump forces are plotting to contest their binding to Trump because of his threat on the pledge Tuesday.

The Hillary Clinton email scandal has been kicking around since March 2015. There has been a drip, drip, drip of inconsistencies in her story and justifications for creating a shadow electronic government controlled by Hillary and her operatives.  The slow flow of identification of classified information on emails, including those sent by her, now has become a flood. The FBI probe, so frequently dismissed by Hillary as a non-event and nothing to worry about, now has become worrisome. The FBI appears to be rolling up her underlings, including her key technical consultant who was hired by the State Department as a political appointee. And interviews are underway or soon to be underway with key Hillary associates. Now David Shuster, formerly of MSNBC now with al-Jazeera America (please hold off on the "what's the difference" jokes), reports that Hillary will be interviewed.

Tipped off by an anonymous whistleblower in 2014, the Office of the Inspector General dug into the Drug Enforcement Administration's aviation operations with the Department of Defense in Afghanistan. They found an $86 million plane that doesn't fly. Worse still, the DEA's Afghanistan mission ended in July. According to the DEA's website, the aviation unit employs approximately 125 Special Agent Pilots:

British intelligence agency MI5 is reportedly tracking up to 25 ISIS terror plots threatening to bring Brussels-style devastation on to British streets. Security forces have increased surveillance on as many as 50 Islamists believed to be planning eminent terror attacks in the country. Despite ramped up counter-terrorism measures, senior security officials fear that there might be other undetected sleeper cells in the country capable of carrying out terror attacks without prior warning. In a related development, British government has raised concerns over a potential attack on country's nuclear power plants. Officials warned that ISIS terrorists operating on British soil could try to get hold of nuclear material or carry out cyber-attacks on nuclear reactors.

Marco Rubio may have suspended his presidential campaign but he's still having an impact on the Republican primary process. He wants to hold onto his delegates for a contested convention and as usual, it's all about Trump. NBC News reports:

The unusual move reflects preparations for a contested convention this summer — and comes as Donald Trump backed away from an earlier pledge to support the Republican party's nominee if he is treated unfairly after winning more delegates than his rivals.

We reported previously on the deceptive anti-Israel Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign at NYU, in which BDS supporters try to co-opt unrelated divestment movements, such as fossil fuel. This campaign has now morphed into a boycott petition at NYU’s Graduate Student Union (GSOC-UAW Local 2110). Meanwhile the deceptive tactics continue. On Tuesday morning, Ted Cruz kicked off a Women for Cruz coalition in the liberal stronghold of Madison, Wisconsin. The senator was joined by his wife Heidi, mother Eleanor, and former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina for a conversation on issues considered important to women. In a change of pace from prior events, Cruz gave a shortened stump speech and focused on the meaning of the term "women's issue," itself:
"This event this morning is a celebration of strong women. One of the most frustrating things about the Democrats is the Democrats love to pigeonhole women. Put 'em in a little box [and] you have a set of issues that are women's issues. Well, listen. I have news for the Democrat party: Women are not a special interest. Women are a majority of the United States of America and every issue is a women's issue."
Cruz went on to say that his campaign is about three issues, those being jobs, freedom, and security. Despite the Democrat party's effort to deem only issues advancing the progressive cause as valid women's issues, Cruz made a point to emphasize that these three crucial issues are inherently women's issues just as they are men's.

Seems like mere months ago, Donald Trump was cozying up with the Republican Party, signing pledges, and promising to support the eventual nominee. But that was September. The Donald has since had a change of heart.

As the primary battle in Wisconsin heats up with the endorsement of Senator Ted Cruz by Governor Scott Walker, an different kind of fight is occurring among the state's citizens. As of this report, nearly 60 Wisconsin residents have been stricken with bloodstream infection from a bacteria called Elizabethkingia, and 18 have died. Additionally, one Michigan resident has also died from an infection.

A little over a year ago I reported that a Food Justice Warrior had been appointed "School Lunch Czar" to shake-up the signature program promoted by First Lady Michelle Obama. Prior to that appointment, students across the country ran a #ThanksMichelleObama campaign to share pictures of the unappetizing meals being served. More recent tweets show....that the Food Czar has been less than effective. There is a continuing pattern of the media falsely trying to portray Trump rally attendees as violent, when in fact almost all confrontations were provoked by violent and intimidating conduct of anti-Trump protesters. We saw this extensively when Trump's Chicago rally was shut down after near riots by anti-Trump activists who infiltrated the rally venue. And we saw it yesterday at a Trump rally in Janesville, WI. The headlines, such as at The Hill, scream about how a protester was peppered sprayed directly in the face.

Amanda Carpenter, former aide to Jim DeMint and Ted Cruz, was one of five women whose barely pixelated images were published by the National Enquirer as allegedly having affairs with Ted Cruz. Since then, Carpenter has been subjected to a truly insane, vicious Twitter smear campaign attacking her and her family. People have created fake social media accounts in her name and that of her husband. I'm not going to spread the garbage being spewed against her by Trump supporters, but it fairly is characterized as deliberately deceptive attempts to piece together her Twitter and Instagram photos along with images and video of Cruz in an attempt to "prove" the affair. The claim in a widely shared video compilation purports to show Carpenter wearing Cruz's suit jacket at a time when Cruz appeared on TV without a jacket -- something Carpenter mocked herself in response: https://twitter.com/amandacarpenter/status/714544438547202048
