When it comes to Joe Biden's eventual running mate, Kamala Harris has drawn the most speculation from pundits, but former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice is a very real possibility. With two former members of the Obama administration on the ticket, this would definitely be like a third term for Obama.

On Obama's last day in office, January 20, 2017, National Security Advisor Susan Rice wrote an email memo to herself (pdf.) regarding the investigation into Michael Flynn and a January 5, 2017, meeting attended by Obama, Biden, Rice, Sally Yates, and James Comey. The email was mostly public previously, though supposedly classified portions were redacted.

The Stanford Daily reported that Stanford University student Melissa Hernandez allegedly assaulted Stanford College Republican (SCR) President John Rice-Cameron, the son of President Barack Obama's national security advisor Susan Rice. The alleged assault occurred at a tabling event on campus the SCR held in support of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The Obama administration was stuffed to the gills with unsavory characters, but one that stands out above most others is Susan Rice. And now she's hinted that she might consider running against Senator Susan Collins (R-ME). As we've covered here at LI, Rice has been at the center of far too many Obama-era scandals. From lying about the cause of the Benghazi compound attack that left four men, including an American ambassador dead, to lying about the deserter Bowe Bergdahl having "served with honor and distinction, to unmasking Trump campaign officials, Rice was front and center.

An excerpt from Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin's War on America and the Election of Donald Trump reveals an explosive claim against former National Security Advisor Susan Rice. She supposedly told the White House cyber team, who planned to fight back against Russian meddling when the evidence mounted, to stand down.

Republican Senators Grassley and Graham sent a request for clarification to former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice last week. In the request, the Senators posed 12 questions, all centered around one email Rice sent to herself on inauguration day, in the final moments of her tenure in the White House. The committee came across the email during their ongoing investigation into the FBI/Steele Dossier cluster.
