Elizabeth Warren Tag

It's been quite a while since we've checked in on Senator Elizabeth Warren. She hasn't been up to very much since her failed run for president in 2020. Now she is lending her voice to the effort to save California Governor Gavin Newsom from being recalled because there's nothing Warren loves more than anything that can draw her focus away from her job in Massachusetts.

So this has been Elizabeth Warren's endgame since it became clear several months ago that she would not win the Democratic presidential nomination. Warren stayed in the race long enough to siphon off enough support for Bernie on Super Tuesday to hand Biden the nomination. Bernie supporters called her a snake. The snake emoji became the symbol of Berner fury at Warren.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) endorsed presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Joe Biden. Warren did not receive as much hate as she did when she did not endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) after he dropped out, but it looks like a "Never Biden" movement might make some waves like the "Never Hillary" people in 2016.

One of Elizabeth Warren's key 2020 presidential campaign pledges was eschewing big money donors and PACs, claiming they were dangerous to democracy. Of course, this didn't stop her from transferring over from her Senate campaign big money from big donors, nor did it stop her campaign from holding big dollar fundraisers with a cardboard cutout in place of Warren herself.
