Little by little, the wheels are falling off the Democrats' massive spending bill. In the most recent change, Biden informed progressive Democrats that free community college probably won't make the cut. This is an issue that senators like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have been pushing for years. They are not going to be happy about this.

Walgreens has already closed twelve stores in the San Francisco area and now will close five more. The company has described the city's rampant shoplifting as "organized retail theft." Over the last two years, progressive cities like San Francisco have declined to prosecute cases of shoplifting, which has only emboldened thieves.

A math and business teacher at Hanover High School received a termination letter over social media posts she made that expressed her opposition to Critical Race Theory (CRT), as well as the LGBTQ agenda in public schools. The teacher, Kari MacRae, says she has sought out a lawyer and will consider her options. Elected to the Bourne School Board in May 2021, MacRae made TikTok videos for her campaign in which she said she would make sure CRT wouldn't be taught in Bourne schools, and expressed her opposition to schools teaching that students "can choose whether or not they can be a girl or a boy." She has refused calls to resign from the school board position.

The Senate has confirmed Tracy Stone-Manning to lead the Bureau of Land Management on a party line vote. Republicans have been objecting to her nomination for months, due to her connection to an act of eco-terrorism, as well as her views on population control. Senate Republicans also suspect that Stone-Manning will use her position to advance the left's radical agenda on climate change.
