Obama’s “you didn’t build that” line as part of a broader speech about how successful individuals owe that success to government has dug deep into the psyche of Obama supporters.

MSNBC dug up an old video of Mitt Romney speaking at the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics (for comparison, take a...

Reaction to Obama’s imitation of Elizabeth Warren is, um, building.

Bristol Palin is collecting stories at her blog from people around the country, some of which are in this video

The Romney campaign is out with t-shirts (h/t jimzinsocal):

There’s also a parody site, You didn’t build that (h/t PhillyGuy and hepcat).

Meanwhile, Obama called the...

When Neil Munro shouted out a question to Obama yesterday as Obama was reading a statement in the Rose Garden about his unilateral thumbing of Congress and the American people in the eye, a firestorm of condemnation erupted among media-types on both the left and right.

Forget for the moment that this is...

Obama’s speech from Afghanistan, standing in front of military vehicles at Bagram Air Base, was fairly predictable.

Yet in this moment of spiking the football, Obama needed to remind us that we are not yet worthy as a nation (emphasis mine):

Our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, coast guardsmen and civilians in Afghanistan have done...

Update:  The Eagle has landed, er, pulled into the driveway, and this low blow on Rutherford B. Hayes has him agitated:

The quote cited by Obama does exist on the Internet, but we would...

Brilliant.   Healer.  Reformer.  Magnanimous.

Words routinely used to describe Barack Obama, all of which have no basis in history, as documented by Victor Davis Hanson:

Barack Obama is a myth, our modern version of Pecos Bill or Paul Bunyan. What we were told is true, never had much basis in...

Obama grows shorter

I have posted numerous times before about Obama’s penchant for creating false choices in his speeches, invariably some non-existent supposedly conservative position versus his position. This enables Obama to knock down the conservative straw man and make his own position seem reasonable by contrast.  He’s a classic shorter.

It’s a cheap rhetorical trick,...

The conversation then drifted to Netanyahu, at which time Sarkozy declared:  “I cannot stand him. He is a liar.” According to the report, Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him...
