Remind me again why I should watch.

Also, I can’t wait for the warm welcome Chief Justice Roberts gets this time, now that he cast the deciding vote in favor of Obamacare.

Update: From RCP:

I missed this when reading Obama’s inaugural speech (still haven’t listened to it).

I just heard Jonah Goldberg make reference to it on Special Report with Bret Baier.

Via Tom Ricks at Foreign Policy Blog, Obama’s 2nd inaugural address: ‘Peace in our time’? Really, Mr. President?

The WTF moment for me in Obama’s second inaugural...

No need to watch Obama’s inaugural speech.

Text is here.

Same old, same old straw men, platitudes, and ode to big government and collectivism:

Through it all, we have never relinquished our skepticism of central authority, nor have we succumbed to the fiction that all society’s ills can be cured through government alone.  Our...

One of the things I missed today during my long drive was the White House calling the ad embedded below “repugnant and cowardly.”

I’ll tell you what else is regugnant and cowardly, a Presidential statement made by exploiting children on stage as a sympathy ploy meant to suggest that those...

My wife repeatedly promises to stop cursing at the television.

Completely unrelated to that, we didn’t watch the Obama press conference today.

Via Common Cents, you can watch it for me:

Mark Levin apparently watched it.  Protein Wisdom has the transcript of Levin’s comments.  Here’s the video:

Obama just had what was possibly the most insulting press event I’ve ever seen from a President — I’ll post the video when available, it will infuriate you.

He spiked the football, overtly insulted Republicans and Congress, and laughed that he is on the verge of getting what...

Obama gave a good speech tonight at the memorial service in Newtown, CT.  It was the type of appropriate speech we expect from any president in time of national tragedy.

But, as usual, some people need to make every Obama speech historic, in this case likening it to the Gettysburg Address...

Obama loves straw man arguments, known on the internets as being a shorter

The false choice between Obama’s position on an issue and some absurd extreme alternative is Obama’s way of framing most issues.

“Some say” we should have no government or similar ridiculousness is a typical Obama refrain in order to justify...

The much demonized kulaks (a/k/a the top 5%, 2%, 0r 1% depending upon the speech) were the first to rise up against Obama.

Now the kulaks have been joined by the common peasantry, via NPR:

As Mitt Romney and President Obama get ready...

A newly surfaced 2002 tape of Obama speaking at an MLK Day Memorial Service is, in many ways, even more important than the Daily Caller video released last night.

In this video, revealed at Patterico, Obama plays the class warfare and race cards at the same time, tying in Enron executives and Bull Connor (emphasis...

The video of Obama from 2007 will not itself change the election. At that level, it was over-hyped.

But it is a reminder of the nasty side of Obama, the side well-hidden, the side which does not hesitate to play racial and class politics when convenient and to his advantage.   The side...

Because a tape is being released on Hannity tonight.

And based on this tease by Drudge, it should be big.

Guesses?

One thing for sure, Democrats will scream Racism! for showing a tape of Obama saying words which are not helpful to Obama.

Maybe that will result in a third Obama speech on race. One...

I just tuned in to hear Chains Biden tell the already debunked story about Obama’s mother fighting with the insurance company, and relating how that story reflects what makes Barack tick and who he is.  What a perfect start to the night.

A presidency built on myth and composite truth.  What in the old days they...

By now you have heard the Obama and Liz Warren speeches about how no one got rich on his or her own.  Listen to them again, it’s important to hear how they frame the issue almost identically:

This narrative is cribbed almost verbatim from the narrative of George Lakoff, a progressive linguistics activist...

Via Zeek Miller at BuzzFeed Politics, the Obama campaign and Democrats understand how bad the issue has hurt Obama, and are...
