I cannot believe these guys are going to be lawyers. Students at the Brooklyn, NYU, and Cardozo law schools walked out of their classes on Wednesday to protest the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. From The Washington Post:
“We are in the middle of a national emergency,” student organizers wrote in a letter announcing the demonstration, which was coordinated with the National Lawyers Guild advocacy group. “We do not recognize Kavanaugh as a legitimate member of the United States Supreme Court.” They called on students to leave classes from Wednesday afternoon through Friday, and wrote, “We demand that anyone seeking to be elected to Congress in November commits to impeaching Kavanaugh to protect any semblance of rule of law and the people of our communities.”

On Fox and Friends Monday morning, the Harvard Law professor emeritus explained that while Trump has constitutional defenses in the federal investigation conducted by Mueller, that's not the case in investigation currently underway at the behest of New York's Southern District.

No, Governor Cuomo. Just...no. At an event Wednesday, New York Governor Cuomo attempted to mock Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan. Cuomo led by saying, "We're not going to make America great again. It was never that great."

Federal prosecutors announced an indictment (pdf.) against Rep. Christopher Collins (R-NY) on insider trading charges and lying to the FBI along with his son Cameron Collins and Stephen Zarsky, the father of Cameron's fiancee. The charges stem from the "securities of Australian biotechnology company called Innate Immunotherapeutics, where the congressman served on the board."
