The bitter relationship between the New York Police Department (NYPD) and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio continues to grow. The Police Benevolent Association, the NYPD union, voted no confidence in de Blasio and Commissioner James O'Neill due to the firing of Daniel Pantaleo. He is the officer involved in the death of Eric Garner back in 2014.

New York City Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson determined multimillionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself:
“After careful review of all investigative information, including complete autopsy findings, the determination on the death of Jeffrey Epstein is below — Cause: Hanging. Manner: Suicide.”

Rep. Jerry Nadler, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, man who has made Trump is #1 political enemy, fainted at a press conference Friday. Nadler was attending in support of Mayor de Blasio's speed camera initiative. Texas just voted to ban all red light cameras, but anyway.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced his candidacy for the 2020 Democratic primary with a video that contains all the popular rhetoric and buzzwords leftists love to use. From The Washington Examiner (emphasis mine):
“As president I will take on the wealthy, I will take on the big corporations, and I will not rest until this government serves working people,” he said in an announcement video released Thursday called “Working People First.”

Celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti faces federal charges of extortion, bank fraud, and wire fraud in New York and California. He left jail on Monday after posting a $300,000 bond. Avenatti almost immediately sat down with CBS News to explain his side of the story. He claims he never tried to extort Nike, but admits he's "nervous" and scared" at the thought of spending the rest of his life in prison.

At 11:16AM, lawyer Michael Avenatti tweeted about his press conference tomorrow morning, which would cover a high school/prep school scandal that involves Nike. Only 46 minutes later, a CNN reporter tweeted that the Southern District of New York charged Avenatti for "attempting to extract more than $20M in payments from a publicly traded company by threatening to use his ability to garner publicity to inflict substantial financial & reputational harm on the company if his demands were not met." The DOJ also announced Avennati's arrest on a separate charge of federal bank fraud and wire fraud.
