Michigan Attorney General Bill Shuettte has filed charges against Michigan Health and Human Services Director Nick Lyon and Chief Medical Executive Eden Wells in the Flint water probe. Lyon faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and misconduct in office while Wells faces obstruction of justice and lying to a police officer. Authorities have arrested Jacob Schwartz, a New York City employee and president of the Manhattan Young Democrats, for allegedly possessing child pornography. The NYPD Computer Crimes division began an investigation in March and Schwartz surrendered his computer. The detectives "found more than 3,000 images and 89 videos depicting girls as young as 6 months old performing sex acts on adult men."

A ruling released by a federal court Friday overturned the two life sentences of DC Sniper Lee Boyd Malvo. Malvo was one of two shooters who killed ten people and injured three others in October of 2002. The sniper-style attacks had the entire District of Columbia on edge for three weeks until the shooters were apprehended. "Malvo's case has been remanded back to Spotsylvania County Circuit Court to issue a new sentence," reports Fox News' DC affiliate. Malvo appealed his life sentences on the premise that he was seventeen-years-old at the time of the murders, making him a minor exempt from a life sentence (based on Miller v. Alabama). The other shooter, John Allen Muhammad, was executed for his crimes in 2009.

Back in March, two illegal alien teens were charged with raping and sodomizing a 14-year-old girl in a high school bathroom.  After conducting an investigation into the case, prosecutors have dropped rape charges against the illegals; they are still facing child porn charges, however. The Baltimore Sun reported at the time:
The two teenagers accused of raping a ninth-grader at Rockville High School last week were among tens of thousands of young people who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally in 2016.

They face charges for "conspiring to perform genital mutilation on minor girls by letting a doctor use their clinic to perform the procedure."

So awful. The Associated Press has uncovered an internal UN investigation into a child sex ring in Haiti by UN peacekeepers. According to the AP report, one individual from Pakistan received jail time while a court in Uruguay convicted four of “private violence." Peacekeepers from places like Sri Lanka and Uruguay came to the island in the recent decades and should have provided help and security to the abandoned children. While the peacekeepers had food, the report stated they made the children pay for it....with sex.

The United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM) has found slave markets along migrant routes in Africa from the Sahara to Libya, which is where the majority of the migrants will take another dangerous journey to Europe. The staff found out that "hundreds of young African men are being traded in public in what they described as slave markets." From The Independent:
“The situation is dire,” Mohammed Abdiker, IOM’s Director of Operation and Emergencies, warned.
