I have repeatedly pointed out, in response to the cancel culture targeting me over my criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement, that things have changed on campuses in ways most people don't fully appreciate. The new activism surrounding race is completely at odds with the traditional goals of the civil rights movement -- that all people be treated with dignity and afforded the protections of our laws without regard to race.

ViacomCBS dropped Nick Cannon after he tried to spread anti-Semitic conspiracies on his podcast. The company said it "troubled" them because he "failed to acknowledge or apologize" for his actions. However, Cannon told Fast Company that he "can’t wait to sit down with" rabbis who contacted him about his remarks. He wants them to educate him and have an open dialogue about the topic. Cancelling him ends the chance to educate not just Cannon, but his large audience.

For months the Centers for Disease Control has been pressing social distancing guidelines on the nation to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The recommendations include standing at least 6 feet apart, wearing masks, and using hand sanitizer generously. All of these rules were thrown out the window by Black Lives Matter protesters as they marched and demonstrated. Furthermore, pillagers and rioters were likely ignoring infection control measures as they tore down statues, burned buildings, and looted stores.

New York City witnessed 15 shootings in 15-hours on Saturday as violence continues to surge in the Big Apple. On July 1, Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city council passed a budget, which included $1 billion cuts from the NYPD. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn't blame the cuts. Instead, she blamed unemployment "because struggling residents are forced to shoplift in order to 'feed their children.'"

Begun as a truly peaceful protest against the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, the protests quickly devolved into riots, looting, arson . . . and, eventually, perhaps inevitably, murder. This conflagration of lawlessness quickly morphed into a nation-wide push by various aligned Marxist and anarchist groups to destroy America, capitalism, history, our very culture and our heritage.  Minnesota was ground zero for the rampaging rioting, looting, arson, vandalism, and murder spree that is still engulfing parts of our great nation.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick confirmed him kneeling during the national anthem is hatred for this country that gave him an opportunity to become a star and millionaire. Kaepernick bashed Independence Day, calling it a "celebration of white supremacy." What changed? He sent out happy messages on Independence Day when President Barack Obama was in office.
