NBA, Some MLB Teams Strike on Wednesday in Response to Jacob Blake Shooting

The Milwaukee Bucks decided not to play its playoff game on Wednesday to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, WI. Their strike caused a domino effect that spread to other leagues. But if they all play tomorrow or even the rest of the season do their actions on Wednesday even matter?

Last night, windows of businesses and residential buildings being smashed on University Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin. One of the businesses was a Papa John's Pizza, and one of the workers (it's now clear if he's the franchise owner) reprimanded Black Lives Matter supporters:

Seattle radio host Jason Rantz reported that the Seattle Police Department confirmed rioters probably used "quick-dry concrete to seal shut the door to the East Precinct." Another rioter tied to set the building on fire.

Portland Rioters Wheel Guillotine Through Suburbs, Execute American Flag

On Saturday, a horde of black-clad rioters marched through a Portland suburb wheeling a guillotine and shouting at the people watching in horror from their homes. When they finally arrived, guillotine in tow, at their destination in front of a police precinct, they burned Americans flags as they rallied around their guillotine and cheered.

The latest riot in Portland proves it has everything to do with mayhem and nothing about black lives, systematic racism, or police brutality. Rioters attacked the Multnomah Building, which has offices for the local sheriff, but mostly "houses offices for county departments that provide social services that have no connection to the police."
