Mitch McConnell released a resolution to be introduced Tuesday that sets the schedule for the Senate impeachment trial. (Trying not to laugh) The proceedings will start at 1 p.m. each day (to accommodate the Chief Justice's day job schedule), and go for 12 hours. Rinse and repeat. Whoever said Mitch McConnell doesn't have a sense of humor?

First and foremost, Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! In 1983, President Reagan signed Martin Luther King, Jr. day into law. Even so, it wasn't until 2000 that all states observed the day as intended. 2000. That's... incredible.

On Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) claimed to be "the only one running for president whose actually been on the executive side." This is clearly false given that former Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE) was . . . well, vice president.  Not to mention that Michael Bloomberg (D-NY), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Pete Buttigieg (D-IN) are all former mayors.
