President Donald Trump has been working hard at erasing his predecessor's phone-and-pen legacy. His latest rollback of Obam-era inanity focuses on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its new plans for fuel economy standards.
The Trump administration is expected to launch an effort in coming days to weaken greenhouse gas emissions and fuel economy standards for automobiles, handing a victory to car manufacturers and giving them ammunition to potentially roll back industry standards worldwide.

I was a big fan of the original Roseanne during its original run from 1988 to 1997. So, when I learned that Roseanne Barr would be reviving the show and portraying a very vocal Trump supporter, I made sure to catch it.

The last time we reported on ExxonMobil, the Big Oil giant was counter-suing municipalities that had sued iy for suppressing climate change impact data. At the time, the company noted that though these same cities and counties claim that they are seriously threatened by floods and other environmental problems because of “climate change”, they clearly failed to disclose these dire concerns to potential bond investors.

Anton Yelchin, the “Star Trek” actor who portrayed Ensign Pavel Chekov in the rebooted movie series, died tragically in 2016 when his SUV rolled down his driveway and trapped him against a security gate. His parents have now reached a settlement with the makers of the SUV model Jeep Grand Cherokee.
A confidential settlement between Victor and Irina Yelchin and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, which manufactures the Jeep Grand Cherokee that crushed Yelchin, was filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court. The details of the settlement were not disclosed.

During a recent video rant, a Washington, D.C. lawmaker blamed a late-winter snowfall on a famous family of Jewish bankers, accusing them of controlling the climate and creating natural disasters.
Council member Trayon White Sr. apologized for the comments he made in a since-deleted video on his official Facebook page posted Friday morning as snow fell over the capital.

The recovery operations continue after the collapse of Florida International University pedestrian bridge. As crews labored to lift, cut and dig through 950-tons of debris, the death toll has risen to six people, with 10 more reported as sustaining serious injury. While the causes of the disaster are still being investigated, there is news that cracks in the structure were reported to the state's transportation agency two days before the collapse.

California isn't just at war with Donald Trump. It is conducting a culture war against several red states in the form of Assembly Bill 1887. The measure prohibits state-funded and state-sponsored travel to Alabama and several other red states Thursday due to laws that could discriminate against the LGBTQ community (e.g., prohibiting adoptions).
