DC lawmaker now sorry he blamed Jews for bad weather

White will learn it’s prophets, not profits, that create miracle-based climate change.

During a recent video rant, a Washington, D.C. lawmaker blamed a late-winter snowfall on a famous family of Jewish bankers, accusing them of controlling the climate and creating natural disasters.

Council member Trayon White Sr. apologized for the comments he made in a since-deleted video on his official Facebook page posted Friday morning as snow fell over the capital.

“Man it just started snowing out of nowhere this morning, man. Y’all better pay attention to this climate control, man, this climate manipulation,” White can be heard saying in the video, the Washington Post reported.

“And D.C. keeps talking about, ‘We a resilient city,’” he continues. “And that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”

White deleted the video. Sadly, for him, he has learned the internet is forever.

Perhaps the most shocking aspect of Whites climate analysis is how oblivious he is to how racist and insane it sounds. One would suspect that he surrounded with people with the same toxic worldview, so perhaps it is a good thing he plans now to chat with some actual Jews.

The group Jews United for Justice will offer White new perspective, on faith at least, if not politics.

“I want to apologize to the Jewish Community and anyone I have offended,” White wrote in a post on Instagram. “The Jewish community have been allies with me in my journey to help people. I did not intend to be Anti- Semitic (sic), and I see I should not have said that after learning from my colleagues.”

White said Jews United for Justice, a D.C.-based advocacy group that endorsed White in 2016, was helping him understand “the history of comments made against Jews.”

The organization acknowledged speaking to White in a tweet:

“We spoke with @trayonwhite tonight about how his comments played into the long history of antisemitism. We look forward to working with him toward deeper understanding of antisemitism and toward our collective liberation.”

By way of background, the Rothschilds are a European Jewish banking family who have been linked to anti-Semitic conspiracy theories for years. This particular drama had its roots in the family’s 2011 purchase of the controlling stake in Weather Central, a provider of weather forecasts to hundreds of broadcasters.

“As weather becomes more extreme around the planet, with greater human and financial ramifications,” Sir Evelyn de Rothschild said in a news release, “we believe that Weather Central will play a major role in mitigating damage and improving lives.”

This was big news in meteorology and broadcasting circles: It appeared the Rothschilds, a prominent business family, wanted to take on the Weather Channel to expand its media holdings.

This was also big news for conspiracy theorists: To them, it appeared the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish family who made a fortune in European banking in the 1700s, wanted to control the weather and profit from natural disasters.

White himself holds a master’s degree in public administration from Southeastern University and is the founder of nonprofit organizations including Manpower DC, Helping Inner City Kids Succeed, Inc., and Bold Brothas for Christ. He beat the incumbent in the 2016 election to become the Ward 8 representative.

While I am no theologian, I do believe there are only a few Jews who could control the weather…and they were either the Lord’s prophets or the Son of God. In fact, we are about to be treated to the ABC annual broadcast of one of the rare times a Jew initiated miracle-based climate change on March 31st!

So he had to learn from his colleagues that Jews don’t control the weather? My apologies to Hank Johnson-D, (GA) for my mistakenly thinking he was, without a doubt, the biggest nitwit ever to hold elected office

Ghost Rider in reply to MarkS. | March 20, 2018 at 9:27 am

There are many in DC competing for the honorary title of Chief Nit-Wit, and not just at the federal level.

JusticeDelivered in reply to MarkS. | March 20, 2018 at 11:32 am

I hold Jews in high regard, in spite of large numbers of Jews wanting to pamper and make excuses for blacks.

There are plenty of dull white people. No one is advocating handing them degrees and demanding that they be hired, coddled and that we all pretend that they are competent when in reality they are not.

I firmly believe that it is good public policy to help those who are competent and willing to study and work hard. I think it is horrible policy to hand idiots unearned degrees.

Fake News: “I now know the the truth and unreservedly withdraw my accusations against the Jews. I want to apologize to the Jewish Community. I now know it was the Zionists who actually controlled the weather.” /sarc

To think he has a Master’s degree… this is a product of higher education? Seriously? Anti-Semitism is rising again from the left. Hmmm, where had we seen that before, leftists who are controlling and Anti-Semitic and had a rabid lock-step group of followers? Seems history is working its way to repetition.

    MarkS in reply to oldgoat36. | March 20, 2018 at 9:56 am

You said it! It’s quite trendy in Leftist circles to be anti-semetic

    JusticeDelivered in reply to oldgoat36. | March 20, 2018 at 10:53 am

Remember, he is on Bell Curve where the average intelligence is 85, and there is nothing he or the rest of us can do to fix that.

I don’t think we should blame him for being dull, but I also do not think we should allow creation of majors for those who are dull witted or affirmatively hand out meritless degrees. It is time stop putting up with PC BS.

“Man, y’all know the Jews control everything and sh*t. I done my Master’s thesis on the Jewish question. I be an expert on this.

“My name is Crayon, and I approve this message.”

The thing is, while he now understands that he put his foot in it, I don’t think he understands why. My guess is that he had no idea the Rothschilds were Jewish, and therefore had no antisemitic intent in making his comment, and he now thinks that was his mistake. Not that what he said was factually incorrect in any way, but that one mustn’t say so because of who they are, just as one mustn’t mock stupid people who happen to be black, because it perpetuates an unfair racial stereotype.

if the Jews had any power consequence this idiot wouldn’t have survived long enough to make an apology

ahad haamoratsim in reply to Fen. | March 20, 2018 at 11:26 am

But that’s how we mask our power, to keep people from finding out all the things we are really behind. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! (P.S. don’t tell anyone I tipped you off to this, or I’ll have to bring the coffee and Danish for next month’s Elders meeting.)

From Mr. White’s apology: “I have spoke with leaders and my friends at Jews United…”

My child’s comment: “Well, at least it appears that he wrote the apology himself.”

I love that kid.

After reading his apology I have to say that he sounds sincere and it was completely ignorant on what he was saying.

Mercy, forgiveness, education and move on.

And I cant throw stones – I recall the Rothschilds as being a European financial powerhouse, but had to be reminded by the OP they are Jewish.

My wife is Jewish and already knew, but only because RothBlank surnames have cropped up so frequently in family circles as she grew up.

Milhouse in reply to Fen. | March 20, 2018 at 11:39 am

The fact that they’re Jewish isn’t important here. His statement would have been just as crazy and offensive had he said “Rockefellers” instead, and not just because some paranoid antisemites think they’re Jewish too. That’s what I think he still doesn’t get.

Frank G in reply to Milhouse. | March 20, 2018 at 8:52 pm

BZZZZT. Wrong. It’s essential. You ever hear about the sneaky Mennonites? Or those Baptist Financial Controllers™? No

Milhouse in reply to Frank G. | March 21, 2018 at 3:07 am

I have, however, heard of the Rockefellers, the Fuggers, the Bilderbergers, and the Illuminati, none of whom are Jewish. Suspicion of bankers and accusations that they secretly control the world is not antisemitic, it’s just crazy. Even if they happen to be Jewish.

guy with a masters degree cannot seem to grasp grammar, why expect him to grasp sociopolitical concepts..

But I don’t understand how anyone with a master’s degree can have such poor grammar.

My posts here often read as broken as his, but that’s because I’m using voice to text with no edit function.

The education establishment ripped this guy off.

Likely the bigotry of low expectations.

Ragspierre in reply to Fen. | March 20, 2018 at 2:25 pm

Duh Donald boasts of a Masters in Finance. His grammar is famously awful. And that’s just in English. Don’t EVEN start about economics…!!!

      02sbxstr in reply to Ragspierre. | March 20, 2018 at 5:37 pm

And he is worth how much and you are worth what? Not all of his wealth was inherited.

      02sbxstr in reply to Ragspierre. | March 20, 2018 at 5:37 pm

And he is worth how much and you are worth what? Not all of his wealth was inherited.

        Milhouse in reply to 02sbxstr. | March 21, 2018 at 3:09 am

Pretty much all of it was. If he’d just invested his inheritance in an indexed fund and spent his life being an idle playboy he’d be worth about as much as he is now. So all his work has yielded him nothing.

Ragspierre in reply to Milhouse. | March 21, 2018 at 5:57 am

…well, and he lied, cheated, and stole, to get there, as well.

But out friend is another member of the “not-logicians” to add to the circle of jerks here.

What Duh Donald’s worth has to do with his terrible grammar is…and will remain…a mystery. And terrible grammar was the question.

Some people go to college to get an education and some go to get a degree. There is a lot of difference between credibility and credentials.

In my chemistry class, if I screw up the mole ratio I don’t get credit for understanding the concept but getting the math wrong.

Why are the other disciplines this way?

alaskabob in reply to Fen. | March 20, 2018 at 11:24 am

Because making a mistake and blowing up the lab yields more physical evidence of stupidity . It is immediate and more obvious. It also based in reality.

imagine a university giving out engineering degrees to graduates who can’t do long division

    Obie1 in reply to Fen. | March 20, 2018 at 12:11 pm

It appears from the South Florida bridge incident that someone did.

      02sbxstr in reply to Obie1. | March 20, 2018 at 5:54 pm

I think you are barking up the wrong tree here. I suspect FIU was pushing to get this structure open to advertise their investment. I am an engineer and we tend to be very conservative. Go back to the Challenger disaster: NASA bureaucrats over ruled engineers to get the launch done. We know best — defer to our judgement.

Lord, I love this country. Populate a city, or state, with uneducated idiots and who do they elect to represent them? Another idiot. Is this a great country, or what?

I don’t understand the willingness to let this guy off the hook as if he is just a bumbling idiot. He is as dangerous as Bubba the politician in 1940 saying he’s sorry that he said blacks are the reason the crops failed, but apologizes only when the NAACP threatens to pull a major donation that is bigger than the one the Kkkk gives him.

Stop excusing people who will be the first in line to load you onto trains.

inspectorudy in reply to elle. | March 20, 2018 at 12:57 pm

It is known as the “Get out of jail free” card if you are black. Look at most of the members of the black congressional caucus. Most of them do not have command of the English language and they repeatedly say things that if spoken by a white would be grounds for eviction from Congress and prosecution for hate crimes. Without much effort, one can come up with buffoons and their statements about almost anything. There is hank “Tip over” Johnson, mad Maxine Waters, ethically challenged Clyburn, The gang from Illinois, Al Sharpton and the list goes on and on. BUT, they are never held responsible for their hateful diatribes by the msm.

Milhouse in reply to inspectorudy. | March 20, 2018 at 3:18 pm

hey repeatedly say things that if spoken by a white would be grounds for eviction from Congress and prosecution for hate crimes.

Stop lying. You know very well that this is not true, but you say it anyway because it makes you feel good inside. There is nothing a member of Congress, of any color, could say that would be grounds for expulsion, and speech is by definition not a crime of any kind, so how can it be a hate crime?

elle in reply to Milhouse. | March 20, 2018 at 6:37 pm

You are right, it would not be grounds for “expulsion”, but you fail to note that when the GOP members do it, they are often held accountable and have the dignity to resign whereas on the left it rarely happens because few of their own demand they do so.

        http://www.nbcnews.com/id/21973397/ns/politics/t/trent-lott-announces-his-resignation/#.WrGK7OjwbIU

This man’s comments are not cute or dumb, they are dangerous, as 6 million Jews can attest. Well, actually they can’t attest to it because they are all dead. That you fail to note that Trayon should resign for such outrageous speech and choose to quibble over words like “expulsion” makes you his accomplice.

inspectorudy in reply to Milhouse. | March 20, 2018 at 8:37 pm

It’s nice to have a forum police like you to point every error anyone here makes. I have sympathy for anyone who you may live with!

Milhouse in reply to inspectorudy. | March 21, 2018 at 3:20 am

It was not an error, it was a deliberate disgusting lie that degrades this entire site and makes all rational discussion impossible. You have no business on this site. Get lost.

There is no such thing as a “hate crime” in the USA, in the sense that you falsely use it. Hatred is not and cannot be criminal. Nor can hateful speech. Nobody has ever been prosecuted in the USA for saying hateful things, or for having hateful thoughts.

An actual “hate crime” is an actual crime that happens to be motivated by hatred; if it’s not a crime it can’t be a “hate crime”. The motivation is not a separate crime, it’s merely a classification of the original crime, just like “violent crime”, “white collar crime”, “repeat crime”, “organized crime”, or “inner-city crime”. And you know this, but pretend not to for reasons I cannot fathom. So go to Hell.

Fen in reply to Milhouse. | March 20, 2018 at 8:51 pm

Was that an attempt at self-parody, Milhouse?

Good form. Always refreshing to find a tightly-wound bloke who can poke fun at himself every now and then.

        But keep practicing…

Milhouse in reply to Fen. | March 21, 2018 at 3:22 am

No, it was the exact truth and you know it. Inspectorudy deliberately lied, hatefully lied, for the sole purpose of exacerbating racial resentment. His lie can only be explained if he’s a white supremacist.

elle in reply to Fen. | March 21, 2018 at 11:49 am

Are you autistic Milhouse? Maybe we could all understand you better if are. Nothing wrong with being autistic. Just wondering, that’s all.

This is another big WTF—

This was big news in meteorology and broadcasting circles: It appeared the Rothschilds, a prominent business family, wanted to take on the Weather Channel to expand its media holdings.

This was also big news for conspiracy theorists: To them, it appeared the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish family who made a fortune in European banking in the 1700s, wanted to control the weather and profit from natural disasters.

That’s quite a logical jump there—from an obvious desire to expand business holdings, to control of the weather.

What’s missed is the obvious in-between; somebody doesn’t want to control the weather (which is just childish), they want to control what we believe we know about the weather (which is sinister, but not childish at all). Enough such buys wouldn’t put anyone at the forefront of weather control; it would put them ‘way up in the Warmunist deception. And that conspiracy, unlike magical control of weather, is very real.

It’s the canary anthology, again, and again, and again. While the colors change, the narrative is persistent.

Next he will blame those Jews on giving us bagels and lox.

Milhouse in reply to natdj. | March 21, 2018 at 3:32 am

Jews invented neither bagels nor lox. Indeed in Europe Jews didn’t eat salmon — it was too expensive. Lox was for rich people; Jews ate herring, like everyone else. Only when they got to NY, where salmon was cheap, did they discover the delights of lox (which, by the way, is salt cured, not smoked; “Save the lox; nova difference”), and how well it went with a bagel, some cream cheese, and a bit of onion.

Delicatessen also wasn’t a Jewish thing in most of Europe. It’s another thing most Jews discovered in NYC. The first major wave of Jewish immigrants were German, and brought with them their German love of cured meats. So when the Eastern European Jews came later, they found that the only kosher restaurants were delis, and were took to this German style of food that they never knew before.

It’s not just Jews; the chain continues. When Irish got to NYC they discovered corned beef and cabbage… in Jewish delis! Again they took to it with such gusto that people now think of it as Irish food, but it was unknown in Ireland until returning emigrants brought it back with them from NY.

For that matter the great Jewish love affair with Chinese food started in NYC, on the Lower East Side, where Jews who were bored with deli had the choice of Italian or Chinese. Italian food, with its open mixing of cheese and meat, was just too alien for most Jews; Chinese food had no dairy, and the pork was cut into such little pieces that they could pretend not to know what they were eating, so they adopted it en masse.

Tucker Carlson had Mark Steyn on to talk about this. The result has to be seen to be disbelieved.
