The second Democratic debate is officially in the books and as Kemberlee wrote last night, the clear winner was illegal immigrants. To varying degrees, every candidate on the stage expressed an open borders position, with several promising ways to further incentivize migrants to attempt to take that dangerous trek across the border.

The number of individuals classified as Islamists by Germany's domestic intelligence service has crossed 26,000, German newspapers reported. The threat from Islamic terrorism in Germany "remains at a high level," the spy service disclosed. The Islamic State is "restructuring itself into an underground terrorist group" following its military defeat in the Middle East. The terrorist organization was particularly shifting towards a strategy of hitting soft targets, the intelligence report said.

In the Gibson's Bakery v. Oberlin College case, the Court has entered a Judgment (pdf.)(full embed at bottom of post) calculating the damages owed by the defendants after applying the statutory tort reform caps. The total amount (inclusive of compensatory and punitive damages) is: David R. Gibson $14,000,000; Allyn W. Gibson $6,500,000; Gibson Bros. Inc. $4,549,000. The total is $25,049,000.

President Donald Trump has raised $36 million since he announced his 2020 reelection campaign a week ago. From CNBC:
Trump’s seven-day haul is double the entire first-quarter fundraising total for Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont , whose $18 million led the field of two dozen Democratic presidential hopefuls.

OK, so I hope tonight's debate is not as chaotic and a mess so I can provide better coverage than last night. I wonder if they'll try to out Spanish each other tonight. Anyway, tonight from 9PM ET to 11PM, ten more Democratic presidential candidates will take the stage in Miami.

Iran will never build nuclear weapons because Islam forbids such a move, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Tuesday. "It is us who, because of our religious views, will never pursue a nuclear weapon," Zarif remarked. The comments come as Iran speeds up its enrichment of uranium, bringing the Islamic Republic closer to building a nuclear bomb.
