Bringing the federal judiciary back to the center has been one of the great successes of Trump's first two years in office. As mentioned many times before, Trump was presented with an opportunity to realign the federal judiciary for a generation given the large number of Court of Appeals and District Court vacancies when he took office. Judicial nominations, particularly to the Supreme Court, were a core Trump campaign promise and a huge motivator for Republicans in 2016.

The top EU court has prohibited bus companies from checking passenger passports on cross-border buses, making it difficult for German police to identify illegal immigrants entering the country, say local media. The ruling by the European Court of Justice could prevent the German police from stopping thousands of illegal border crossings and embolden the migrant traffickers. Last year, the police caught around 14,000 illegal immigrants trying to enter the country by bus and train.

Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus recently commented on Neil Cavuto's FOX News show on the rise of socialism, especially the new Ocasio-Cortez wing of Congress, and the role higher education has played in the phenomenon. Marcus is right to recognize higher education as a key player. Left wing concepts of social justice have quickly moved from the halls of academia to Washington, DC. Democrats in Congress increasingly sound no different than campus activists.

The surest sign that Beto is running is that a leader of "Draft Beto 2020" just shared a video of Bernie Sanders on his honeymoon in the Soviet Unino 1988:
"Recently discovered footage from 1988 reveals a shirtless Bernie Sanders with his wife, Jane, on their honeymoon in the USSR, drunkenly signing “This Land Is Your Land” with a group of presumed Soviets."

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the subsequent independence of the Balkans, one of the most hotly contested issues has been between Greece and the neighboring entity that had been calling itself the "Republic of Macedonia". The origin of this struggle has been the legacy of Alexander the Great, the Macedonian general who conquered Persia, Egypt, Syria, Mesopotamia, Bactria, and Punjab and initiated the Hellenistic era. Each nation claims Alexander as its own, both for bragging rights and tourist dollars.

On Saturday, Fuzzy blogged that a Texas cemetery asked the public to attend the funeral of Air Force veteran Joseph Walker out of concerns that no one will be there. This shows the power of social media. It caught the attention of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and CNN's Jake Tapper, who pleaded with people to attend the funeral. It worked.
