If the pro-immigration Denk Party has its way in the next election, the Netherlands will receive a “Racism Police” to go after thought and speech crimes. Denk Party, founded a couple of years ago by two former-socialist politicians of Turkish origin, already sits in the Dutch parliament and is banking on the support of country’s growing Muslim population, currently at about 7 percent, in the parliamentary elections held early next year. Denk Party, dominated by members of Turkish and Muslim origin, often piggybacks on progressive and leftist issues to expand its support base. The party wants stricter sentences for "racist and discriminatory behaviour", and treat so-called offenders much like child molesters by listing them on a nationwide "Racism Register". The Muslim-dominated party promises to create a 1,000-men strong force to go after "Dutch racists".

Concepts like safe spaces and microaggressions are so ridiculous that it's easy to forget that there are people who take them seriously. Really seriously. Case in point: Young Americans for Freedom recently held a meeting at the University of Kansas and some social justice warriors showed up. You can probably imagine how things went. Heat Street reports:

Harvard Medical School has a new dean this year and some students view this as an opportunity to promote a new agenda at the revered institution. According to these students, the study of medicine is severely lacking in social justice. The Harvard Crimson reports:
Students Draft 'Social Justice Agenda' for New Medical Dean More than a hundred gathered at the Medical School Wednesday to develop a list of priorities for the new dean to help make the school more diverse, convening after a semester of campus activism aimed at selecting a leader dedicated to the issue.

As a Jesuit institution, Georgetown may technically be a Catholic school but it is decidedly progressive in its politics. The school also has a slavery related stain in its past for which it is now trying to atone. CBS News in Washington, DC reports:
Georgetown to Give Slave Descendants Priority for Admission Georgetown University will give preference in admissions to the descendants of slaves owned by the Maryland Jesuits as part of its effort to atone for profiting from the sale of enslaved people.

The University of North Dakota is offering progressive social justice warriors the opportunity to live in special housing where their views will never be challenged by those who disagree with them. Imagine a dorm which functions as one big safe space. Can you imagine what a fun living environment this will be? Heat Street reports:

Oregon State University will force incoming Freshmen to complete an online program in social justice. If progressive ideas are so attractive and important, why must they always be required? The College Fix reports:

This "privilege" train has officially gone off the rails.  It's one thing for adults to argue that all white people are secretly, even unknowingly, racist and quite another to teach—systematically and purposefully—self-loathing and racist hate to 6-year-olds.  Yet that is what is happening at the progressive Bank School for Children on the Upper West Side of New York City. The New York Post reports:
An elite Manhattan school is teaching white students as young as 6 that they’re born racist and should feel guilty benefiting from “white privilege,” while heaping praise and cupcakes on their black peers. Administrators at the Bank Street School for Children on the Upper West Side claim it’s a novel approach to fighting discrimination, and that several other private New York schools are doing it, but even liberal parents aren’t buying it. They complain the K-8 school of 430 kids is separating whites in classes where they’re made to feel awful about their “whiteness,” and all the “kids of color” in other rooms where they’re taught to feel proud about their race and are rewarded with treats and other privileges.

Al Qaeda has a bit of advice for lone wolf jihadis planning terrorist in attacks in America -- make sure victims are white. Omar Mateen, ISIS devotee, chose a gay nightclub in Orlando for his jihad. Subsequently, Attorney General Lynch suggested love was the best weapon against hate (which would be true if the hate weren't blowing people up, decapitating, crucifying, and shooting up the Homeland), House Democrats built a pillow fort to protest the bill of rights, Hollywood demanded we DO SOMETHING ABOUT GUNS!, and the fact that a major terrorist attack occurred was sorely neglected. The gender equality movement has officially come full circle and is now consuming itself in the most glorious of fashions. From demanding equal rights to assuring us there's zero difference between men and women and now, men are beating women at their own games. Social justice warriors at Yale are angry that the study of English involves reading the work of old white men. In a move that defies history and logic, they have launched a petition which makes specific demands on Yale's English Department to put an end to this travesty. Robby Soave writes at Reason:

What could be seen as the final act in Venezuela’s worsening economic crisis, the Latin American country has begun selling its remaining gold reserves. Just three year after the death of its socialist leader, Venezuela -- once a leading oil producer -- is on the verge of bankruptcy. It is yet another 'miracle of socialism' that a country with the world's largest oil reserves can go almost broke. Venezuela's total oil reserves stand at an estimated 296.5 billion barrels, which is higher than Saudi Arabia’s 265.4 billion barrels. But the cash-strapped country is struggling to get investments and technical expertise to convert its oil reserves into revenue. Socialist leader Hugo Chávez got elected as country’s President in 1999 and introduced the ideology of “Socialism of the 21st Century”. Chávez enacted a new constitution, taking control of the state and the economy to carry out his “socialist revolution”.
