Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang challenged New York's decision to cancel its Democratic primary, scheduled for June 23. The state chose to do so because it's obvious former Vice President Joe Biden will win the nomination and the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, which has ravaged the state. Judge Analise Torres ruled that New York must have its Democratic primary, finding the cancellation unconstitutional, and it must include "all qualified candidates."

The Wuhan coronavirus forced New York to move its presidential primary from April 28 to June 23. But as the outbreak continues, the New York Board of Elections chose to remove Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) from the ballot since he stopped campaigning and canceled the primary since former Vice President Joe Biden is the presumptive nominee.

With Bernie suspending his campaign today, it might seem self-evident that Joe Biden will be the Democratic nominee. But while Bernie is suspending his campaign, he's going to remain on future state ballots and continue to accumulate delegates. That might seem contradictory, but it's not if you consider Joe Biden's very public and sad 'cognitive decline.'

I cannot remember a time when a presidential election took a backseat during the election year. Do you sometimes forget we have an election in November? I do! It's all about the Wuhan coronavirus. Democrats have shown determination to oust President Donald Trump since he won in November 2016. It looks like the coronavirus has caused doubts while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is a thorn in their side once again.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has a massive lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), so why the concern over money? President Donald Trump and the GOP continue to swim in money. If Biden wants to compete, he needs the resources. The coronavirus is making it harder for Biden to raise those needed funds.

Sunday's Democrat debate will feature Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, no Tulsi Gabbard.  After his horrendous showing in the last two primaries, Sanders announced that he is staying in the race to attend this debate and to challenge Biden on a range of issues. The debate starts at 8 p.m. Eastern and can be seen on CNN or Univision.  We are including a live stream below.
