After months of campaigning and coming in second place in most presidential polls second to only Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has started to see his numbers slipping. In fact, over the last several weeks Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has either made it even or overtaken Sanders’s second place stand...

For the past week or so we’ve been treated to a breathless media elated that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is “surging” in her bid for the 2020 Democrat nomination for president.

The problem? Her “surge” seems to be directly related to the cratering campaign of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) made one thing clear this past weekend at the California Democratic Party state convention:

So-called middle ground candidates like Joe Biden should not become the party’s torchbearer come election time because in their eyes the only way they can defeat President Trump is embr...

Bernie Sanders likes to call himself a democratic socialist, perhaps because it’s a bit more palatable than plain ol’ “socialist.” Doesn’t really matter what he calls himself, his track record indicates that at the very least, he’s sympathetic to full blown communism.

The Coming Fight Between Bernie and Biden Might Look a lot Like 2016

If you followed the Democratic primary process in 2016, you probably recall the schism that emerged between the establishment wing of the party, which backed Hillary Clinton, and the insurgent progressive wing that supported Bernie Sanders.

In 2020, we could witness a replay of this same scenario.

President Donald Trump tweeted this morning that 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) campaign is history.

He pointed out that former Vice President Joe Biden still controls the polls, but those same polls show that Sanders is not quite finished yet.

Last weekend, I wrote about 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) glomming onto Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in an apparent attempt to breathe new life into his fading campaign.  This week, it’s Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who is doing her level best to win Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement.

There for a while, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was feeling confident enough in his bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination that he had turned his fire on President Trump.  That didn’t last long.

In the months before the 2008 election, John McCain was 72 years old. Democrats, the media, and even the Obama campaign made McCain’s age an issue. Today, Joe Biden is 76 years old, Bernie Sanders is 77 years old, and the defense of their old age has already begun.

I’m so old, I remember when Elizabeth Warren was surging in the polls, breaking out of the lower-tier single-digit pack.

In late April, a Quinnipiac poll showed Warren surging to 12 points, a point ahead of Bernie, two points ahead of Mayor Pete, and four points ahead of Kamala Harris.
