2020 Presidential Election Tag

President Donald Trump and Joe Biden faceoff tonight at 9 PM ET in the first debate moderated by Chris Wallace. This should be delicious, especially since Biden cannot evade Wallace.

Nancy Pelosi has reportedly begun rallying Democrats in the event the House is called upon to decide the 2020 presidential election. The House is constitutionally provided the privilege of selecting the president in the unlikely event of an Electoral College tie.  A "contingent election" such as this has not happened since 1824, and happened only once before that in 1800, so there is some confusion about what it actually entails.

I don't even know where to begin with the story on President Donald Trump's tax returns in The New York Times. There is so much wrong with it that someone like me, with no accounting or tax background, can figure out the article is worthless. But how about the three media conspiracy theories debunked by the story?

The first presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is happening on Tuesday night. Democrats are playing it cool, but there is real concern about how Biden will perform. In a format like this, Biden is on his own. There is no campaign handler who can suddenly step in and shut down the event by saying "OK, thanks so much everyone."
