President Donald Trump has informed Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in a letter that he will honor her previous invitation to deliver the State of the Union in Congress on January 29. He told Pelosi, "It would be so very sad for our Country if the State of the Union were not delivered on time, on schedule, and very importantly, on location!" Pelosi shot back that she won't allow Trump to deliver the address in the House.

According to Politico, the GOP finally has an answer to the Democrat Party's ActBlue, which brought in over $700 million small-dollar donations in 2018:
Following weeks of closed-door discussions, Republicans have agreed to create a new platform dubbed Patriot Pass, which will be used to cultivate and process online donations. The GOP — whose jungle-like ecosystem of vendors has long fought bitterly over contracts and dollars — has struggled in the past to create such a unified system.

President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani said that his legal team reached out to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office after BuzzFeed dropped a supposed bombshell that Trump told former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress. Giuliani said that both sides "agreed a significant portion of it was false."

Remember that viral video of a kid supposedly taunting a Native American Vietnam vet? Yeah, it didn't take long for people to realize there was more to the story. Well, since the media and everyone else went on a rampage against him, the student identified himself as Nick Sandmann, a junior from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky. He attended the March for Life rally with other students. Sandmann explained his side of the story as those in Hollywood and the media quietly delete their nasty and hateful tweets aimed at the high school kid.

For once, something from anonymous sources came true! California Democrat Senator Kamala Harris has officially thrown her hat into the 2020 presidential race. She made the announcement on Good Morning America.

A man murdered Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a journalist who helped expose major FIFA corruption, as he drove home on a motorbike in Ghana. From USA Today:
Ahmed Hussein-Suale was killed late Wednesday, shot twice in the chest and once in the neck at close range while driving in the suburb of Accra where he lived. He died immediately, according to police.

Back in 2015, undercover videos showed Planned Parenthood "violating medical and ethical standards codified in federal law and" Texas regulations. This caused Texas to strip the infanticide organization of Medicaid funding. Planned Parenthood asked the federal courts to restore the funding. The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against them and blasted them "for its rhetoric and medical practices."

Believe all women, right? Isn't that what the left has been saying since the #MeToo movement began? Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) faces a lawsuit from a former staffer who claimed the congresswoman fired her after she said a former employee of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) raped her in 2015.

Federal authorities arrested Hashar Jallal Taheb, 21, from Cumming, GA, after he allegedly plotted to attack the White House. From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Hasher Jallal Taheb, 21, of Cumming, was taken into custody in Gwinnett County while allegedly trying to exchange his vehicle for explosives. He later appeared in court in downtown Atlanta in the case brought by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. Authorities said Taheb was acting alone and they made no accusation that he had ties to any terrorist group. He was arrested after a tip from a resident who said the young man had been radicalized.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is no stranger to racial controversy and it's nice to see the Republican party finally doing something about it. The Republicans have booted King from committees after he told The New York Times, “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?” From Fox News:
"We will not tolerate this type of language in the Republican Party ... or in the Democratic Party as well," House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., told reporters. "I watched what Steve King said and we took action."
