El Paso Sector Border Patrol Have Picked Up Hundreds of Illegal Immigrant Adults Posing as Children

“Identity fraud is a common tactic used by TCOs to take advantage of migrants who do not know the legal consequences of their actions as they attempt to deceive authorities.”

The Border Patrol agents in the El Paso sector captured more than 665 illegal immigrant adults posing as children since October so they could cross the border.

From Fox News:

El Paso Sector, which has been ramping up its technology and processing capabilities to identify those coming across the border, said in a release that it recently identified 10 adults posing as minors — amid hundreds of such encounters this fiscal year.

In one instance, three adults aged between 21 and 22, were encountered with one adult and nine unaccompanied minors. Their identities were revealed at the El Paso Sector Processing Center when they tried to use forged documents.

Separately, last week agents discovered three men, aged 18, 25 and 26, who were part of a group of nine migrants entering the U.S. Agents spotted discrepancies between their story and their documents that had them down as minors.

On August 17, agents at the Ysleta Station in El Paso found a 22-year-old male and 19-year-old female posing as adults.

They were all from Guatemala.

Unaccompanied minors are exempt from Title 42 public health protections. The Department of Health and Human Services take the children into custody, where officials will unite them “with sponsors or relatives already in the country.”

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) use ways other than documents to age the people at the border because a lot of the people use fakes.

But the biometrics and other databases don’t always work:

“Transnational Criminal Organizations exploit migrants convincing them to pose as minors in order to be processed as such” El Paso Sector Border Patrol Chief Gloria Chavez said in a statement. “Identity fraud is a common tactic used by TCOs to take advantage of migrants who do not know the legal consequences of their actions as they attempt to deceive authorities.”

CBP said in a release that adults who falsely claim to be UACs can face charges of making false statements to federal agents and conspiracy to defraud the United States — as well as charges related to illegal entry.

Officials say that El Paso Sector has so far detected more than 665 adults claiming to be children this fiscal year so far.

Officials said: “The individuals were questioned at the CPC after agents detected discrepancies between their story and the documentation they presented to pass as minors.”

And it still won’t matter, as they are processed out to supposedly return later for their hearings. There will just be all of these documented cases of fraud and lying and invasion without any recourse to solving them.

When will we start treating this like the invasion it is?

(Oh, and this has been going on for years. But it’s good to be reminded of it.)

Because its NOT an “invasion” by any correct application of the word. It may have been decades ago but not now.

In order to address any problem, the first step is a RCFA to determine the failure modes and mechanisms then build the Corrective Action Plan.

It should be clear to any intelligent human that these “visitors” are INVITED GUESTS so they are simply RSVP’ing the INVITATION they have been given.

This is NOT an “invasion” by any correct use of the term.

They are “INVITED” by the left AND the GOPe/RINO caucuses. (Remember who stopped Trumps attempts- it was NOT the left)

So this “invasion” stuff is just a politically created red herring for people to focus on and get frustrated over while we STILL VOTE IN THOSE WHO GIVE THE INVITATIONS. (That’s like 1 tank crew repairing holes in the wall with a sister crew drilling new ones)

Want to stop illegal immigration PDQ?

1-Vote out the enablers in every office and vote in people who will actually enforce our laws with a MAGA mindset ( fail here and everything else is an exercise in futility)

2- Remove all incentives/gifts/assistance for ALL non citizens ( see 1 above)

    3- Deport

(Notice I didn’t say seal the border because “sealing the border” is merely treating a symptom- remove all the incentives and security from deportation and the border crossings will drop on their own)

Add mandatory E-verify. Then add the manditory sharing of data between Social Security, IRS, voter registration, State DL/ID, vehicle registration, school registration, hospital admissions, CPB, LEO at all levels so that one can’t evade detection and arrest and deportation unless completely off the grid, but one traffic stop is all if takes to be found, arrested and deported.

Then add a five year minimum for ID theft or use of a false ID for employment or interaction with any govt entity. US a fake ID to get a library card? Five year minimum. Use to buy beer? Not applicable.

Then add a five year minimum to any employer who hires illegal immigrants and a three year minimum for that person’s supervisor and so on up the chain to the CEO if it was a systematic issue that they didn’t have processes in place to proactively audit to prevent it.

If govt contracts were gained as a result of lower bids due to lower wages that entity and its leadership/owners are banned from any govt business for five years. Profits during the timeframe of illegal immigrant employment clawed back and distributed to firms who submitted losing bids.

That would get people properly focused and create incentives to comply v skirt the law.

        You detailed my #2 above.

I agree 100% on every point

Have you ever heard a phrase like “barrier to entry”? You’re talking about creating a high one for small businesses here. And, to add to it, you’re making the gov’t the overseer of lots of information that we citizens would have to give it.

CommoChief in reply to GWB. | August 25, 2022 at 7:37 pm

All businesses, small, medium or large should be willing to follow the law. E-verify is free under this plan because it would be a mandatory part of the hiring process.

Every bit of that info is already in the hands of the govt. No additional data demanded or collected just streamlined and accessible.

For decades the govt has collected it but kept it partitioned in separate databases and therefore deliberately non-useful as a tool in prosecuting illegal immigration as a payoff to ththe illegal immigration lobby.

The concept here is simply enter name, DOB and DL /State ID number and get a yes or no answer. Those who choose to ignore that requirement risk going to jail.

That’s not a barrier to entry for a small business to spend five minutes accessing a database. Especially since the govt already has the information anyway so there isn’t any demand for new data, just put it into a central form that gives a yes – ok to hire or no not ok answer.

While I agree about solving it long term, it IS an “invasion” by every historical use of the word.

Invasion does not require an armed, uniformed, organized force. It simply requires a mass of people moving into your polity/region/society.

And, no, these people were NOT invited by Americans. They were invited by globalist elites working against the laws we have duly enacted.

(But, yes, idiot and complacent voters helped put these people in authority, and they are where we go to fix this long term.)

taurus the judge in reply to GWB. | August 25, 2022 at 3:03 pm

        GW,

I really don’t disagree with any of that in principle but reality is:

It is NOT an invasion because yes we AMERICANS did in fact invite them through our DULY ELECTED OFFICIALS. Its not an “invasion” when there’s a line to get in to a concert when tickets are oversold.

They could have been voted out hundred of times over decades but the SHEEPLE sat on their collective asses.

The mythical innocence of children defeats public policy in many ways, one of them being people pretending to be children to get that innocence presumption instead of the adult malevolence presumption.

Nature makes children small to limit the amount of damage they can do.

And those are just the ones detected. The vast majority are surely not being detected.

Posing. You misspelled ‘self-indentify as.’

They picked up a fat, bald headed, out of work guy near Uvalde who self-identified as police chief. Between sobs, he could be heard mumbling, “Threw my ass out.”

Who are we to deny what these people identify as? Unless they identify as Republicans, in which case ship them back home airmail.

You have to read these “statements” somewhat carefully:

“CBP said in a release that adults who falsely claim to be UACs can face charges of making false statements to federal agents and conspiracy to defraud the United States — as well as charges related to illegal entry.”

Note “can face”. Not “will face” or “are being charged”. My guess? None are being charged. Kamala Harris, our “Border Czar” is probably raising money for them.

“Hundreds of Illegal Adults are posing as Children.”

That’s nothing. There’s a mental patient in the White House posing as the president.
