Monday, Donald Trump Jr. published a series of tweets which included screen shots of Twitter private messages between himself and Wikileaks. According to a report in The Atlantic, the messages, along with thousands of documents were turned over by Trump Jr.'s lawyers to the congressional committee investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election.

Attorney Gloria Allred has scheduled a press conference at 2:30 PM EDT with an alleged Roy Moore accuser, adding to the dumpster fire of Alabama's special senate election. An article published by the Washington Post last week featured four women, one of whom allege Moore engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct when she was but a teenager and he was in his thirties. One of his accusers alleged Moore took her out on dates and bought her alcohol. At the time, she was 18 and the legal drinking age was 19. Moore said in an interview on Sean Hannity's radio show last week that he remembers the woman, but doesn't recall if they dated.

Trump's Department of Justice decided last week that some of the work completed by Russian publication RT falls under the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 and gave the news outlet a deadline of Monday to register as a foreign agent. RT would be the first news outlet to register under FARA. FARA was adopted in the midst of World War II to mitigate Nazi tampering in domestic affair.

Embattled Alabama Republican Senate Candidate joined Sean Hannity's radio show Friday to defend himself against allegations that he had improper relationships with girls as young as 14 when he was in his thirties.

Trey Ganem, owner of Trey Ganem Designs in Edna, Texas makes custom coffins. Tuesday, he made the two-hour drive from Edna to Sutherland Springs to meet with the families of victims killed in church massacre. He's offering free caskets for victims of the massacre, if their families would like one.

Saturday, Sen. Rand Paul was jumped and beaten in his front yard by his next-door neighbor Rene Boucher. The attack left Paul with six broken ribs. Since the attack, his attorney suggested attacker Rene Boucher (an anesthesiologist) was unusually riled up over landscaping clippings left out by the Paul's, but other neighbors dispute those claims.

A year ago today, Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton, winning a tax payer-funded extended trip to the White House. As we do on such occasions, our authors have shared their thoughts and analysis on Trump's first year. For some, today is a celebration of Trump's victory. For others, it marks a most delicious moment in American political history -- the day the Clintons were nationally rejected, embarrassed, and sent packing.

After large-scale tragedies the quest to prevent the next mass shooting begins. In the case of the Sutherland Springs shooting, the federal government's failure to properly report Devin Kelley's violent past may have allowed him to possess weapons to which he should not have had legal access.

Evan McMullin ran for president in 2016. He failed, of course. But in running, he gave Never Trump conservatives who couldn't stomach pulling the lever (or pushing the button, these days) for Donald Trump an out; someone they could feel good about voting for, without forfeiting their vote entirely.

No one trusts the media these days and for good reason. Biased reporting, a disproportionate amount of attention exerted towards tearing down conservatives and traditionalism, and supposed fact-based reporting sneakily meshed with opinion all contribute to the growing tension between the American people and the fourth estate.
