There are some very tenuous similarities to the situation in 1944 for the Democrats. It was understood by the party leadership that FDR would not finish his 4th term, and by most of them that he was barely able to fill the office at the end of his 3rd term. Since there was no option to his running, they needed to insure that Wallace was not his VP, and carefully pick the next one.
Biden’s VP will almost certainly become president sooner rather than later, and possibly become the candidate should Biden collapse during the general election campaign. Of course, that may well happen before the Democratic Convention, based on what we have seen.
Anyone who has seen a parent, formerly strong and capable, lapse into dementia recognizes the symptoms, and shares the heartache. This is not a partisan issue, or at least it should not become one.
Since Hillary Clinton is likely to be “picked” as his Veep, does ole Quid Pro Joe have the presence of mind to NEVER turn his back on her?
I actually came on here to make a snarky comment about the “echo” in the “mind of Biden”.
But as happens every time I think about this and the way the left is abusing this man I get so damn mad. This is Elder Abuse on National TV and it needs to stop. I am no fan of Biden but I am a Nurse and I took and Oath to help people and what is happening with Biden and his obvious cognitive decline is disgusting.
Is Biden a willing victim of the abuse?

Decades in office and what did biden ever accomplish? He’s the quintessential corrupt politician. A hack who managed to get elected because most people don’t pay close attention to politics. biden got rich and made his family/friends rich by ripping off the American tax payer. He is a disgrace and deserves the legacy he’s forging for himself. He’s a bumbling, hateful fool in a pair of aviator sunglasses. We can’t even go into the archives to find a time when good ‘ole joe was doing anything good for anyone except himself. Another thing. Why isn’t hunter out on the stump with quid pro joe? Could it be Ukraine? Crack? Stripper baby’s mama? I hate when politicians’ kids get dragged into the muck, but the PDJT era has eradicated that norm for me. -End of rant-
