Germany's central bank, the Bundesbank, has revised its regulations to stop Iran from withdrawing €320 million ($400 million) in cash from the country's bank accounts. Under the new conditions, the Bundesbank can stop cash transfers that violate US Treasury sanctions, the German newspaper BILD disclosed. The drastic measure to physically ship the cash out of Germany demonstrates Tehran's demising trust in the European financial institutions as the US Treasury tightens screws on the regime's worldwide financial operations. The transaction is "one of the largest cash transfers ever in German history," a spokesman for the country's finance minister admitted.

Robert Mueller did not start Trump Derangement Syndrome. That started before the 2016 election, but went ballistic when Trump won. #TheResistance movement immediately went into crisis attack mode, trying to intimidate Electors and to delegitimize the election result.

Could our political media be any more narcissistic? Actually, don't answer that. Tuesday night, CNN's Jim Acosta (the guy who loves to make himself the story) was greeted by attendees at a Trump rally in Tampa, though certainly not in the way he probably hoped. Rally-goers flipped him the bird, yelled "CNN sucks!" called him a "traitor" in between the chorus of loud boooos.

Axios obtained a memo written by the office of Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, that plans for the government to takeover the internet and regulate digital platforms. From Reason:
To save American trust in "our institutions, democracy, free press, and markets," it suggests, we need unprecedented and undemocratic government intervention into online press and markets, including "comprehensive (GDPR-like) data protection legislation" of the sort enacted in the E.U.

GREAT NEWS! The man accused of murdering Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010 was extradited from Mexico to the U.S. Suspect Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes allegedly used a gun from Operation Fast & Furious, a gun-running scheme established under former Attorney General Eric Holder's Department of Justice. He will face charges of first degree murder and have an arraignment in Tucson, Arizona.
