John Solomon, the vice president of digital video at The Hill, appeared on The Ingraham Angle last night to discuss the double standard of attorney-client privilege when it comes to President Donald Trump and failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The FBI recently raided the offices of Michael Cohen, Trump's lawyer, which led the president to declare that attorney-client privilege is dead in America. Many called him a whiner and found excuses to make an exception for this case, but weirdly enough, they and the FBI appeared to back the privilege when it came to Hillary.

There isn't much of a pretense anymore that the Mueller investigation is about alleged Russian campaign collusion. Maybe it started out about collusion, but it veered off course within a couple of months, when Mueller decided that Paul Manafort needed to be investigated for conduct many years ago having nothing to do with the campaign, or even Russia. Rod Rosenstein created the paperwork in early August 2017 to retroactively expand Mueller's investigation and justify Mueller conduct that already had taken place.

Iran has stirred the pot even more with Israel by threatening the Jewish state after an airstrike on Monday killed several Iranian military personnel at an air base near Homs, Syria. Reuters reported that Israel faces even more security concerns over the possibility of US airstrikes in Syria after President Donald Trump threatened Russia over its support of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

PressTV, which is affiliated with the Iranian regime, has reported that the government has revealed a plan to change to the Euro "as its official reporting foreign currency" as the country's rial continues to plummet. The rial's problems have caused citizens to rush to the banks to take out US dollars. This week, 60,000 rials could be purchased for just one American dollar.

An editorial in The New York Times on Monday blasted President Donald Trump for not having a plan for Syria. I don't know if Trump does or doesn't have a plan for Syria. What I do know is that Trump's predecessor, Barack Obama did have a plan for Syria - and it is the reason we keep seeing carnage there. What's worse, The New York Times enthusiastically supported Obama's plans affecting Syria.

Facebook's use of user data has been plastered across headlines for the last several weeks. A story about a company called Cambridge Analytica precipitated what became a massive snowball. In early stories, Cambridge Analytica (a data firm used by some candidates in both domestic and international elections), was accused of hacking the 2016 election by stealing user data.
