California Governor Gavin Newsom laid a giant egg this week when he and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) applied stringent new coronavirus rules to traditional Thanksgiving Day festivities.
"Gatherings are defined as social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space or place. When people from different households mix, this increases the risk of transmission of COVID-19," the CDPH said in a statement.

Europe is experiencing the full fury of Wuhan coronavirus with the death toll surpassing that of the United States. "Across Europe, the number of infections since the start of the pandemic is now above 8.2 million and more than 258,000 people have died from COVID-19," French TV network EuroNews confirmed on Saturday.

The recent move by the World Health Organization (WHO) to recommend that nations end lockdowns as the chief means of controlling the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus was intriguing. However, in a recent piece that is nothing less than shocking, a new report from The New York Times says that experts are confident that the coronavirus pandemic will end “far sooner” than originally expected.
