In the spring of 2017, a Bernie Sanders supporter and Rachel Maddow 'superfan' named James Hodgkinson shot up a baseball field full of Republican congressmen, nearly killing Rep. Steve Scalise. You may have forgotten about this because Democrats and the media spent about 48 hours talking about it. Yet they're still yapping about the January 6th 'insurrection.'

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz was the subject of an explosive report in the New York Times yesterday. The newspaper alleged Gaetz was involved with a 17-year-old girl. There are also claims of sex trafficking. The whole thing is very bizarre. Gaetz responded in an appearance on the Tucker Carlson show.

When some Republicans objected to the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, Democrats called it a threat to democracy. Woke corporations fell in line and shut off donations to the GOP. Now that Democrats are trying to overturn a certified House race in Iowa, Mitch McConnell and Republicans in the Senate are demanding an equal reaction.

A source told Politico's Playbook the Democrats are going all in to reverse the Republican victory in Iowa's 2nd District. Mariannette Miller-Meeks defeated Rita Hart by six votes. The Democrats have not taken a hard stance publically, but the source said the top people in the House Democratic leadership "blessed" the efforts to oust Miller-Meeks.

In response to a campaign started by disgraced "grim reaper" lawyer Daniel Uhlfelder, Loews Hotels announced last month that they would no longer be hosting a scheduled fundraiser for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) in Florida on grounds that the chain was “opposed” to anyone who “supported and incited” the actions of the Capitol rioters.

Questioning the outcome of the 2020 election is forbidden unless you're a Democrat. Just six votes decided the race for Iowa's 2nd District, and Republican Marianette Miller-Meeks won. Democrat candidate Rita Hart appealed directly to the Democrat-controlled House, and now, weeks later, they are actually considering measures that would reverse the outcome.

It's astounding that one of Joe Biden's first acts as president was to destroy thousands of jobs with the stroke of a pen. The people who lost their ability to provide for their families have spoken out, but their objections have fallen on deaf ears. Republicans, who are increasingly embracing working-class voters, are planning to make the Democrats pay a political price for this.
