Remember when the mainstream media sneered at President Trump's claims on how people allegedly being tied up, bound, and duct-taped women at the border? These outlets included CNN and The Washington Post. As it turns out, Trump was right. The media outlet going on the record to correct the "fact checkers" on this issue is the New York Times, the queen bee of liberal media outlets, and certainly no friend of the president's.

Media bias against Republicans has always existed but has reached a new high in the age of Trump. Talking heads on cable news frequently blur the lines between news and opinion. Supposed journalists openly root against Trump and for his opponents. It has gotten so bad that even Jill Abramson, the former executive editor of the New York Times is calling out the "paper of record" over bias.

Rouzan al-Najjar was a female Palestinian medic who died of a bullet wound during violent protests near the Gaza-Israel border. As we have documented dozens of times, those protests are organized and manipulated by Hamas and other terror groups, who plant their military members in the crowds under cover of burning tires. Dozens of Hamas and other terror members have been killed in the attempts to breach the border with the intent to attack Israeli soldiers and civilians.

The Democrats have been wailing about the Russian influence on the 2016 election, but it turns out, as Mary blogged earlier this week, that they are implicated in creating their own army of fake Russian bots to influence the 2017 Alabama Special Election. According to reports, Democrats spent the same amount of money on fake Russian bots intended to spread disinformation and fake news as the Russians spent on real Russian bots.

The New York Times recently published an Op-Ed with an eye-popping claim: for all its flaws, the Communist revolution taught Chinese women to dream big.

This was not the first piece published by the New York Times exploring the Alleged glories of socialism as they relate to women. In August, anthropologist Kristen R. Ghodsee attempted to answer the greatest question of the 20th century, in Why Women Had Better Sex Under Socialism (oh — you weren’t wondering that?).

As the media and the left goes on and on about hateful rhetoric from President Donald Trump after numerous someone sent Democrat foes bombs, they seem to have forgotten that their rhetoric doesn't help either. You know, like this fantasy story at The New York Times that depicts the assassination of Trump by a Russian agent with the help of the Secret Service.

On Sunday night, September 23, 2018, The New Yorker published an article about accusations by Deborah Ramirez, a former Yale classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The authors were Ronan Farrow and Jane Meyer. The New Yorker article noted, deep into the article, that Ramirez's accusations were not corroborated by any witnesses with first hand knowledge, and that Ramirez herself had gaps in memory that were cleared up only after 6 days of thinking about it and consulting with lawyers.

President Donald Trump will go on a Twitter tirade in 3...2...1... The New York Times reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensetin, the man who hired Special Counsel Robert Mueller, offered to wear a wire to tape Trump and rally "cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office for being unfit." He suggested that he could bring Attorney General Jeff Sessions and then-DHS Secretary John Kelly to his side. Kelly now serves as Trump's chief of staff.

In the wake of the controversy surrounding New York Times hire Sarah Jeong, Vox writers busily composed articles defending Jeong's racist rants.  Apparently, there's a whole other "social justice" language that makes her racist tweets not only acceptable but not racist at all. There was so much twisting of logic and SJW semantic gymnastics that Cal State sociology professor Bradley Campbell put together a nifty chart to help us understand the finer points of microagressions versus Orwellian SJW babble.

Long-time Legal Insurrection readers will recall the controversy over the ever-changing Elizabeth Warren Wikipedia page.  Here's an overview from 2013:  Elizabeth Warren Wikipedia page ethnically cleansed (Update — partial restoration). In the wake of the controversial and hypocritical decision of the New York Times to keep Sarah Jeong despite her racist tweets, the same sort of cleansing of Jeong's Wikipedia page is underway.

The left is ticked off at New York Magazine columnist Andrew Sullivan and they won't stop until they get blood! He penned an article that blasted The New York Times for keeping Sarah Jeong despite her history of tweeting out racist tweets against white people. How DARE he think racism is racism! In his article he stated that he doesn't think the publication should fire her.

Remember back in February 2018 when The New York Times hired Quinn Norton, but quickly let her go after people exposed old tweets that included slurs against gay people and retweets with racist terms? I guess only those slurs were bad because The New York Times editorial board hired Sarah Jeong who has a history of racist tweets against white people. The newspaper even sent out a memo that defends its hiring of Jeong!
