‘Textbook Gaslighting’: New York Times, Dems Act Like They Always Knew Biden Joined Hunter’s Business Calls

“In George Orwell’s 1984 in order to prevent people from rebelling, the Party has figured out that they must get rid of truthful history to make the present appear better than the past.”

REMEMBER:

Hunter Biden’s former associate Devon Archer told Congress that the First Son put Joe Biden on speakerphone during business meetings over 20 times.

Instead of eating crow, the media and Democrats act like they never backed Biden when he repeatedly said he never spoke to Hunter about business or anyone doing business with Hunter.

They’re experts at gaslighting.

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) tried hard to spin the testimony but he looked nervous as he talked to the press:

GOLDMAN: “And I want to be very clear about one thing: He did describe that there were approximately 20 occasions over the course of their nearly decade-long business relationship where, when one of them called the other, that Hunter Biden would ask his father to say hello to whomever he was at dinner. He said there were some times when it was friends and some times when it was potential business partners or business partners, but the witness was unequivocal and stated very clearly that they never discussed any business on that phone conversations. There were niceties and there was a hello, and they would talk about the weather or whatever it was, but it was never any business.”

Devon Archer Testifies Joe Biden Met with Moscow Mayor’s Wife in Georgetown – Who Wired $3.5 Million to Hunter – And Then Joe Biden Kept Her Off Sanctions List

For the Dems constant assertion that they are against fossil fuels, they’re putting out enough gas to light up a city here.

Democrats would have run cover for Josef Stalin if need be…..wait a minute…..

Does not matter. Their readers are already under and misinformed. What matters is the evidence, and there will be sunlight and transparency with impeachemnt. Onward!

Biden just became unelectable. There are cracks in the media dike that cannot be plugged. Time for plan B. whatever that is.

Paper friggen ballots, hand count, nothing after election day, in person voting, hard ID just like that required for air travel,

      Election/voter fraud a capital offense.

The only Plan B the left has is an brand name abortifacient
I am not sure how that will help them with the problem they have right now.

That being the only person they have ready to run is a corrupt senile old man. If they drop him then they have to have a primary. I don’t think this crew will not hold together through a primary right now. Also an open primary right now would require that they fix it against RFK jr. or he might well win the nomination. They see him as being as bad or worse than Trump since he might get cooperation inside the government to change things and expose them.

You mean like the Democrat leadership using superdelegates to fix the primary against Bernie Sanders?

Much as the Clintons needed to define the meaning of the word “is”, all the NY Slimes has to do to preserve their fig leaf of truth is to re-define the meaning of the word “long”. Heck, to the generations since the 90’s, 10 minutes is a “long time”, given that they have the attention span of a mayfly.

Proves even the Kool-Aid Crowd has to admit BUYden lied.

Most important question is

Is there someone not named Ben Shapiro trying to do something about it as in trying to make an actual play towards breaking the center away from corporate media?

Hunter: The code word is “nice”. When the big guy says “how’s the weather? you say “nice.”Then we have a deal. Got it?

Business Partner: What if it’s raining?

Hunter: Look, just say nice. Got it?

What Goldman said was true.

I think that Goldman is an partisan idiot but this part of his quote is very interesting
” He did describe that there were approximately 20 occasions over the course of their nearly decade-long business relationship where, when one of them called the other,”

does this mean that there were times when Joe was calling Hunter, he did not clearly state that it was only Hunter making the initial call. I would love to get some more details on this.

The NY Times is a propaganda rag for the left, and everthing else is windows dressing.

If people feel physical repercussions for lying, they’ll stop lying.

But Democrats get paid to lie, usually with government/tax dollars.

As the saying goes, when you want to see less of something, you punish it; when you want to see more of something, you subsidize it.

Democrats’ lies are subsidized. It’s no wonder every the vast majority of them have a truth problem.

Pravda on the Hudson, aka The NYT

“The past is rewritten so fast that you don’t know what will happen
yesterday” – Soviet joke

What would you if someone tried to extort you and you resisted. Then the extortionist picks up the phone, puts it on speaker, and calls the Vice President of the United States. And he picks up the phone right away. And the extortionist chits chats about the weather. And then he hangs up and looks at you.

Tell me you wouldn’t take that as a threat.

“New York Times, Dems Act Like They Always Knew Biden Joined Hunter’s Business Calls”

You seem to be suggesting they didn’t “always know”.

Standard for all things they do.
1. That never happened.
2. It doesn’t matter that if it happened.
3. Of course it happened and it is a good thing that it happened.

CommoChief in reply to Martin. | August 1, 2023 at 4:24 pm

Yep. It’s being repeated so often that more and more folks who don’t pay much attention are beginning to see the pattern.

So where we’re at now:
1. Joe has never spoken to his son about business dealings.
2. Joe has never spoken to his son’s business partners.
3. We’ve known all along that Joe spoke to his son’s business partners … but only about the weather – he never participated in the deals.

Tomorrow we’ll find out:
4. We’ve known all along that Joe spoke to his son’s business partners and actively participated and approved all deals … but never leveraged the power of his office for personal gain.

I wonder what #5 will be….

I guess when Joe says make it rain, it has its own unique meaning

Yes, and Stalin was a kind gentlemen pulling Russia into the 20th, as newsman Duaranty reported. Izvestia on the Hudson, printing its views as if they’re news.

Just putting his dad on the phone for “niceties” is an indication to the partners that Hunter has his dad’s (the Veep’s) ear. The “niceties” all by themselves are worth the price of admission.

Couple this with how much the Dems are telling us Joe loves his son, we’re now supposed to believe that if his dear Hunter needed a favor from his Veep dad, that he wouldn’t get said favor? Or at the very least, that exchanging “niceties” on the phone didn’t demonstrate Hunter’s potential ability to ask for such favors?

Of course they all knew. They simply silenced anyone who attempted to say so.
