James Jeffrey is the outgoing United States envoy in Syria. During a recent interview, he rather candidly admitted lying to President Trump about the number of American troops that have been kept in Syria, contrary to Trump's orders. Jeffrey was appointed to other diplomatic positions under Presidents Bush and Obama. He is part of the permanent, unelected leadership class in Washington, DC.

Democrats and their media cohorts have spent the last four years throwing everything they can dream up at President Trump, hoping against hope that this time it will stick.  That this time, finally, after Russia, impeachment, Ukraine, unfounded accusations of racism, outright lie after outright lie . . . this time the latest invented anti-Trump smear will stick, the needle will move, Trump will lose support.  This time.  For sure.

In a time when the country is consumed by election news, left-wing riots, and the continuing effects of the coronavirus pandemic, it is easy to forget that there are so many other important things happening in the world around us. On Friday, President Trump awarded Sgt. Major Thomas Payne with the Medal of Honor for his role in a daring mission to successfully rescue 75 hostages from ISIS.

U.S. President Donald Trump has angered many German politicians and media commentators with his decision to withdraw nearly 12,000 troops from Germany. Defense Secretary Mark Esper laid out the plan on Wednesday.

Under the proposed pull-out, close to 6,400 troops will return to the U.S. and another 5,400 redeployed within Europe.
