With Joe Biden set to assume the U.S. presidency next week, a senior Chinese Communist Party (CCP) functionary declared that the time for China's rise as the world's number one superpower has finally arrived. The "changes of the international landscape are in our favour," Chen Yixin, China's top security official told the country's law enforcers.

China is the single biggest threat to the United States and the free world in our times, a leading U.S. intelligence official warned this week. "Beijing intends to dominate the US and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically," U.S. National Intelligence director John Ratcliffe wrote in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

A day after congratulating Democratic candidate Joe Biden on his supposed "victory" in the U.S. presidential election, Communist China has escalated its trade war with Australia, a key American ally in the Asia-Pacific.

As President Donald Trump's first term comes to a close, his administration is stepping up pressure on the China's Military establishment. The White House has added four more China-based companies to the list of "Communist Chinese military companies," making them off-bounds for American investors and financial institutions.

It's no secret that the Black Lives Matter movement and its co-founder (and self-identified "Marxist") Patrisse Cullors has long accused American capitalism of being fundamentally, systemically racist and "wiping out entire communities"; these assertions are core tenets of multiple official Black Lives Matter organizations. But that hasn't stopped Cullors from signing a big contract with a major purveyor of BLM-reviled corporate consumerism: Warner Bros Television.

Maximo Alvarez, president of Sunshine Gasoline, attended an event at the White House on Friday. He based his remarks about the ongoing protests in the United States on his own experience as someone who escaped Castro's Cuba. His heartfelt words were very pro-America and pro-Trump, which is probably why this has been largely ignored by the media.

China has threatened the United Kingdom with "consequences" if it were to ban the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei from the 5G roll-out, the next generation of wireless networks. Beijing's ambassador to the UK, Liu Xiaoming, warned Prime Boris Johnson that “you cannot have a golden era if you treat China as an enemy." Britain will "bear the consequences" for proposed blacklisting of the Chinese company from its critical telecommunications network, the Chinese envoy declared.
