"There is no better evidence that big tech is out of control than the fact that they banned the sitting president of the United States earlier this year. If they can do it to me they can do it to anyone."...

In the year since the death of George Floyd, 37-year-old activist and Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors has become a household name. Now, she's finally announced—as the last of the three original co-founders to do so—that she's stepping down from her role as the director of BLM umbrella group, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF). Apple has approved Parler's return to the iOS app store following improvements the social media company made to better detect and moderate hate speech and incitement, according to a letter the iPhone maker sent to Congress on Monday.

Lara Trump claimed Facebook removed a video of her interviewing President Donald Trump, her father-in-law, from her show The Right View. Trump posted two emails supposedly from a Facebook employee alerting her about the moves taken in response to her interview.

Parler was made a scapegoat for the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill Riot. As we have explored many times, the attempt to blame Parler was in bad faith and contradicted by the Department of Justice's own criminal charging documents which focused much more heavily on organizing activity on Facebook and Twitter.
