Facebook-Owned Instagram Disables, Restores Account of Mom of Fallen Marine in Kabul
“As soon as i posted about what happened to my son Instagram started pulling up my posts from months ago and sending me notifications that if i kept posting stuff like that they would disable my account!”
Shana Chappell, mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, said Facebook-owned Instagram disabled her account after she posted about her son. She also lashed out at President Joe Biden on Facebook.
Breitbart reported Instagram restored her account:
Update: after Breitbart News reached out for comment, Instagram restored Chappell’s account. A company spokeswoman said her post did not violate any policies and was not removed, but that her account was removed in error.
“We express our deepest condolences to Ms. Chappell and her family,” said the Instagram spokeswoman. “Her tribute to her heroic son does not violate any of our policies. While the post was not removed, her account was incorrectly deleted and we have since restored it.”
Here is how it unfolded on Facebook. Chappell returned to Facebook on Monday to provide an update, which included plans for the future. To say she is mad at Biden is a huge understatement:
He saved so many lives and in return he lost his own. It kills me, i feel like I’m dying! I got to have words face to face with that POS Biden! He’s a coward! My son Kareems body will be returned to norco in 7-10 days so i can lay him to rest! The day after i lay him to rest i will be leaving from Norco in my Blue Toyota Tundra to head to the White House. I will be going to the White House to demand that the traitor POS Biden resign and take his whole corrupt admin with him! If Trump wouldn’t of had the election stolen from him then my son would still be alive! The blood of my son and our other fallen Heros is on Biden’s hands! Anyone who wants to follow along is more than welcome. It’s a long drive but worth it!
Then Chappell shredded Biden some more on Facebook after she met with him after her son and 12 others returned to the states at Dover AFB. It sounds like Biden told the same old story:
Remember i am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know i would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and i had to tell you “that this isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!!!” You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how i feel and i let you know that you don’t know how i feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how i feel! U then rolled your fucking eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son and that was the only reason why, i then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him again etc… u turned to walk away and i let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me like you were saying “ ok whatever!!!
On Monday, Shana said Instagram disabled her account:
It seems Instagram took it upon themselves to delete my account because i am assuming it was because i gained so many followers over my sons death due to Biden’s negligence, ignorance and him being a traitor! I’m gonna assume that Facebook is gonna delete me next! Funny how these leftist one sided pieces of crap don’t want the truth to come out! Keep in mind i only posted about my heart break over my son. Those of u who follow me on IG seen the post. My post was even shared on the news and now IG has disabled my account because of that post! Guess today I’ll accept those interviews from newsmax,fox,etc…Instagram you can not silence me!!! I wonder how the other families feel about Biden. We know two families did not have a good time meeting with Biden after their fallen family members returned to the states.
Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum’s widow, who is pregnant with their child, left the meeting “disappointed.” His sister Roice described Biden’s speech as “scripted and shallow.” Biden brought up the death of his son Beau, who died of brain cancer. He did not die while serving in Iraq. But apparently, Biden thinks it’s the same thing.
Paula Knauss, mother of Army Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss, slammed Biden’s quick Afghanistan withdrawal:
There was heartbreak over losing him. There was pride for “a hero who saved the lives of over 2,000 Afghans.” But there was also disappointment over what Knauss deemed a lack of leadership and protection for the service members in Afghanistan.
“You can’t have a hasty withdrawal after 20 years of war,” she said. “Because it’s beyond me. It disgraces the name of all those who have fought in the past and who are now on ground, foreign ground fighting right now, my son’s [82nd] Airborne is still there, and they deserve to be protected.”
Do not forget these heroes. Do not forget these service members who sacrificed themselves to rescue others. Thank you so much for your service. We will never forget you.

Pacific Gas and Electric spokesperson Ironna Karma assured the public that there was nothing to worry about, and that it all was “just a regrettable error.”
