Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Tag

New Faces GOP, a new Republican PAC, ran an ad on ABC in Washington, DC, last night showing a burning picture of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the horrors of the Cambodian genocide. Twitter is on fire (no pun intended) with AOC condemning the ad as racist. Her sycophants have now started a campaign to #BoycottABC.

Legal Insurrection has blogged a few times these past two years that Democrats have quietly discussed plans to find someone to primary Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Republicans have also jumped on the idea. At least seven have filed to run against Ocasio-Cortez in the Democrat-heavy 14th Congressional district.

Congress has long had an abysmal approval rating, and that has long included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).  We've written here at LI about the poor approval rating carried by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).  In March, Kemberlee blogged that even in New York, President Trump's approval rating is higher than Ocasio-Cortez's. It's little wonder that President Trump wants the AOC plus three "Squad" to be the face of the Democrat party.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was plucked from bartending obscurity and launched into the House of Representatives by the Justice Democrats. One of the group's co-founders, Saikat Chakrabart, became her handler chief of staff . . . and proceeded to toss one fire bomb after another among his charge's new colleagues on the hill.  And now he's out as of Friday.

While Congressman Elijah Cummings is now dealing with new interest in how $15 billion in federal aid allocated for Baltimore was spent, an administration official is now targeting another congressional representative for lack of interest in her home district. HUD Region II Administrator Lynne Patton hit freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for neglecting her district (NY-14).

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is not popular.  She's not popular in swing states, in her own state, nor even in her own district.  The illusion of popularity she has comes from her Twitter following and a currently enamored leftstream media.  But that kind of reputation is tenuous at best because that's the kind of faux popularity that can go as quickly as it comes (ask Wendy Davis and Sandra Fluke. And "Beto.").

Axios got its hands on a poll that could cause Democrats to lose their minds because it's bound to get worse. The poll showed that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has become the face of the Democratic Party in swing states. Thing is, this poll took place before the public spat between her and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
