Over 121 members of New York's legislature, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Jamaal Bowman, and others called on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign. Six women accused Cuomo of sexual harassment. Don't forget that a report discovered his nursing home policy during COVID probably led to the deaths of 15,000 elderly people.

Was it worth it, Gov. Andrew Cuomo? Your COVID-19 nursing home order and hiding the real numbers are breaking down your walls. Cuomo ranted and raved during his Friday press conference. Then the NY Assembly GOP prepared the impeachment process, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) supports an investigation, and an assemblywoman shared messages she received from people who claimed Cuomo bullied them.

As regular readers doubtlessly know, the 2018 midterm elections presented Americans with a new phenomenon in the form of the congressional "Squad": several avowedly anti-Israel (and often Islamist-allied) first-term U.S. Representatives. So first of all, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez spoke for over 90 seconds, but that matters far less than the fact that she used her tiny pre-recorded time slot to endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders for president over the presumptive nominee, former Vice President Biden.

New York City witnessed 15 shootings in 15-hours on Saturday as violence continues to surge in the Big Apple. On July 1, Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city council passed a budget, which included $1 billion cuts from the NYPD. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn't blame the cuts. Instead, she blamed unemployment "because struggling residents are forced to shoplift in order to 'feed their children.'"

I tend to avoid writing about socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) because I find her intensely off-putting on any number of levels. But her bizarre victory dance over the questionable claim that TikTok users sabotaged President Trump's Tulsa rally seems worth addressing.
