Less than two years ago, Hillary Clinton was the star of the show at the Democratic National Convention. Former President Bill Clinton was an honored guest who got rock star treatment. President Trump’s triumphant SOTU address caused quite a buzz because he was not only presidential but spoke eloquently about unity and common cause.  Much to my delight, the mainstream media is now a bit worried about this year’s midterms.  Headlines warned that “Democrats Should Revise Their Hopes for 2018” and “Republicans...

In January, Chelsea Manning announced she filed papers to run for the Senate in Maryland, making her an opponent of Sen. Ben Cardin.

It turns out, Manning may not be eligible to run because “she is on a technical form of unpaid active duty.” This goes against “Department of Defense regulations that...

The GOP may have just lost as many as four seats in the House—certainly at least one.

Things look glum for Republicans in 2018, if you listen to the left and right punditry.

The generic ballot sways heavily towards Democrats, Democrats did well in Virginia, and the Alabama Democrat win is claimed to be a precursor of things to come despite the unique circumstances of Republican Roy...

Glenn Greenwald is in attack mode in support of Chelsea Manning’s run for the Senate in Maryland, with an unintentionally (or not) humorous characterization of the Senate race:

As we look toward the 2018 midterms, it’s interesting to note that the GOP has reportedly given up on Florida’s 27th District.

The district is in the Miami-Dade area and is largely Cuban-American, including as it does “Little Havana.”  Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) has served this area when it was the...

Yesterday I blogged about races to watch for in 2018 and mentioned how the Democrats really think they can take control of the House. The party faces a major problem: Money.

We’ve been documenting the Democrats failure at bringing in the dough and it looks like it’s not getting better, which means...
