Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta has told the media he blames Russia for the hack into his emails, which Wikileaks has been releasing in troves for the last few days. He even said that GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump knew about the hack and the leaks:
“I’ve been involved in politics for nearly five decades,” Mr. Podesta told reporters aboard the Clinton campaign plane. “This definitely is the first campaign that I’ve been involved with in which I’ve had to tangle with Russian intelligence agencies,” he added, “who seem to be doing everything that they can on behalf of our opponent.”
The FBI confirmed its agents have started an investigation into the hack.

Emails in the Wikileaks John Podesta hack has revealed details into the relationship between Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and the Hillary Clinton campaign. One email shows that Warren supplied the campaign with a list of possible nominees for personnel in a Hillary administration. Other emails showed concern in the campaign about how Warren would react if Hillary didn't support a revival of the Glass-Steagall Act. Clinton speechwriter director Dan Schwerin sent an email to the campaign after he had a long discussion with Warren aide Dan Geldon:
He was intently focused on personnel issues, laid out a detailed case against the Bob Rubin school of Democratic policy makers, was very critical of the Obama administration's choices, and explained at length the opposition to Antonio Weiss. We then carefully went through a list of people they do like, which EW sent over to HRC earlier.

The Wikileaks dump of Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta emails shows that then-CNN contributor, now DNC interim chair, Donna Brazile gave Hillary a question ahead of a CNN town hall. Technology giants in Silicon Valley have donated money to Democrat Deborah Ross against Sen. Richard Burr (R), which has become one of the tightest races in the country. The Hill reported:
Laurene Powell-Jobs, the widow of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, tech venture capitalist Brook Byers and tech executive Amy Rao have all donated $2,700 to Ross, the maximum allowed. Paul Haahr, a top engineer at Google, has also donated $2,000 to Ross via the Bay Area based PAC, WomenCount.

Wikileaks released another batch of emails belonging to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, some of which tells about drama within the Clinton Foundation and limiting the usage of Bill due to his sexual history. In one disturbing chain, Doug Band, a lawyer who helped form the Clinton Foundation and former aide to President Bill Clinton, wrote to Podesta, Hillary aide Cheryl Mills, and aide Justin Cooper about how Bill and Chelsea's "office crap" almost caused the foundation's COO to commit suicide: Clinton Foundation COO Suicidal He also told the group Bruce, another employee, claimed this same crap caused his serious health problems.

German authorities have captured the Jaber Albakr, a Syrian refugee, after police raided his apartment on Saturday and discovered a huge bomb making factory. Officials said Albakr planned attacks similar to those in Paris and Brussels and that the Islamic State (ISIS) inspired him:
"According to what we know, the preparations in Chemnitz are similar to the preparations for the attacks in Paris and Brussels," Thomas de Maiziere said in a statement.

The police in east Germany have begun searching for 22-year-old Syrian man Jaber Albakr after they discovered explosives in his apartment in Chemnitz, located near the Czech border. They believe he has planned a large terror attack:
"The search for the suspect is ongoing," Saxony state police tweeted. "At the moment, however, we do not know where he is and what he is carrying with him. Be careful." Police detained three people in Chemnitz who they said were known to Albakr, but he remained at large. "Questioning (of the detainees) is continuing. The results are still to come," said Tom Bernhardt, spokesman for the Saxony state criminal investigation office.
