Kemberlee Kaye is the Senior Contributing Editor of Legal Insurrection, where she has worked since 2014 and is the Director of Operations and Editorial Development for the Legal Insurrection Foundation. She has a background working in immigration law, and as a grassroots organizer, digital media strategist, campaign lackey, and muckraker. Over the years Kemberlee has worked with FreedomWorks, Americans for Prosperity, James O'Keefe's Project Veritas, and US Senate re-election campaigns, among others.

Monday, President Trump signed an executive order, restriction renewal of some work-based visa programs in order to protect American workers as the post-pandemic economy finds its footing. The executive order will not impact those who currently carry certain valid work visas, but applies to new applications.

I first blogged about Juneteenth in 2015. As I noted then, the day’s significance is almost criminally under appreciated. Over the last few years, the 19th of June and its significance, are slowly gaining national popularity, reverence, and acknowledgment.

I'm not sure how many times I've watched this video, but I've watched it a lot and I've snorted, because it's just... perfect. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) walks out and gets his glasses hilariously tangled in his mask. A mask that no longer matters because with rioters and looters galore, social distancing is so May. And the scarf. THE SCARF. It's all too much.
