The "resist we much" crowd's fevered comparisons of President Trump to Hitler have embraced a new level of hysteria and hyperbole.  Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors stated that BLM will not meet with Trump because they wouldn't meet with Hitler, either.  She also says that the president is "literally" trying to kill black communities. The Los Angeles Times reports:
[Interviewer:]  Trump has called BLM a threat. Is the door open to talk to him? [Cullors:]  It's not. And we wouldn't take the invitation. [Interviewer:]  Why not? [Cullors:]  We wouldn't as a movement take a seat at the table with Trump, because we wouldn't have done that with Hitler. Trump is literally the epitome of evil, all the evils of this country — be it racism, capitalism, sexism, homophobia.

A Missouri state senator posted on Facebook that she hopes President Trump is assassinated.  Her comment, since deleted, acknowledged that such a statement is likely to earn her scrutiny from the Secret Service.  And it has. Not only is state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D-MO) facing a Secret Service probe, but she is also being called upon to resign.  Further, Missouri Governor Eric Greitens (R) is urging the state legislature to remove Chappelle-Nadal should she refuse to honor the bipartisan calls for her resignation. Fox News reported on Chappelle-Nadal's Facebook post:
Democratic state senator in Missouri is facing resignation calls for posting on Facebook Thursday that she hopes President Trump is assassinated. “I hope Trump is assassinated!” state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) fired up the Netroots crowd with one of her now-familiar red meat-tossing,  flame-throwing speeches.  The speech is being touted as the launch of her 2020 presidential campaign. Warren railed against moderate Democrats and insisted that "we are not a wing of today’s Democratic Party. We are the heart and soul of today’s Democratic Party." Her goal appears to be to push her already-decimated party further away from mainstream Americans who find her repellent and her regressive, 1930's-era ideas idiotic. The New York Times reports:

Senator Elizabeth Warren used a speech to a grass-roots conference Saturday to take direct aim at Democrats’ diminished moderate wing, ridiculing Clinton-era policies and jubilantly proclaiming that liberals had taken control of the party.

Obama is said to be planning a return to the public stage this fall in a move that has some Democrat strategists concerned.  Unwanted as the "face" of the Democratic Party and unwilling to be the "foil" for Republicans, Obama is expected to campaign for candidates in deep blue territory and to fund-raise. Town Hall reported last month:
The savior is returning. Barack Obama may get back into the trenches to help his party, which was widely expected, especially with the midterm season upon us. The former president is reportedly having regular check-ins with Democratic Party leaders, with speculation that he’s aiming to rebuild the party he helped destroy over the course of his presidency.

Virginia's governor Terry McAuliffe has declared a state of emergency after violent clashes erupted between "Unite the Right," who were in Charlottesville to protest the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue, and counter-protesters. The Wall Street Journal reports:
The governor of Virginia declared a state of emergency Saturday after violent clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters in Charlottesville. Police ordered crowds to disperse as chaotic and violent scenes erupted around the city. Groups clashed in fist fights, with batons and threw newspaper boxes at each other. Some carried sticks and shields, and wore helmets.

As the Democratic Party's internal wrangling among the Obama, Clinton, and Bernie circles picks up steam, Bernie Sanders is releasing a handy-dandy handbook for teens interested in engaging in his socialist "political revolution." Teen Vogue began pushing Bernie's latest attempt to spread his "political revolution" to teens back in May.  Teen Vogue, it should be noted, has recently published articles that provide for teenagers a "how to" on anal sex, explain that opposition to Sharia Law is "hate speech," and deride the Bible as "fake news."

Back in 2003, Bill Burr wrote the primer on password development.  His definitive work recommended random characters, letters, numbers, caps, casing, etc. in a mishmosh that the user not only had to remember (or remember where they'd recorded it) but had to, per his '03 recommendation, change each month into another nonsensical string of random characters and letters. Burr now regrets these rules and says that he was wrong about them.

The war on male college students under the mantle of Title IX continues.  A USC student was accused of raping a fellow student in her dorm room, and after being cleared by security video, could still be expelled. CBS News reports:
Security video from outside a local nightclub has cleared a USC student of rape, CBS Los Angeles reports. Armaan Premjee was accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old student in her dorm room but video from the Banditos club near campus tells a different story.

The wealthy residents of San Francisco's exclusive, gated Presidio Terrace haven't paid a $14/year tax bill for three decades. This led the city to auction off the tony street that boasts among its former residents House minority leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA).  The auction was an attempt to recoup its delinquent tax losses valued at less than a thousands dollars (including penalties, interest, etc.). Officials hit the jackpot when a young couple purchased the street at auction two years ago for $90,100. The new owners are reportedly toying with the idea of charging residents and even outsiders (gasp!) to pay to park on their shiny new street. Now the current residents of the street are outraged and have filed formal complaints and even a lawsuit in an attempt to rescind the sale.
