A senior adviser for MoveOn.org named Karine Jean-Pierre warned that President Donald  Trump's presidency could lead to a civil war during an appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe on Monday. Is this an example of the incitement of violence the left loves to lecture about to the public?

On July 30, 2014, Kemberlee Kaye did her first post for Legal Insurrection, about failed border policy. Over 2000 posts later, she's still here. Kemberlee quickly carved out a niche of covering cultural (war) issues, particularly in defense of dads, and against political correctness and pseudo science:

I've been more than a little distracted the last few days, so I haven't been able to follow the news cycle (aka Trump's Twitter feed) quite as closely as the rest of the internet. My takeaway from glimpses of the fighting is that Trump has Democrats defending and supporting:

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged man behind 9/11, said he might help the victims' lawsuit if the federal government does not seek the death penalty. From The Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Mohammed’s offer was disclosed in a Friday filing in the victims’ federal lawsuit in New York, which accuses the Saudi government of helping coordinate the 2001 suicide attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives when terrorists crashed hijacked airliners into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and, after passengers resisted, a Pennsylvania field. Riyadh has denied complicity in the attacks.

How about a feel good story? The Muncie Police Department teamed up with the Muncie Animal Care and Services with a unique way to have people pay off parking tickets. Instead of cash, the police department accepted cat supplies to help the shelter since it has hundreds of cats and kittens.

Politico reported Monday morning that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), "the party's main election organ," has delved into chaos as Democratic lawmakers and staff demand changes to address the lack of diversity. Chairwoman Cheri Bustos (D-IL) returned to Washington, DC, during the recess as many Democrats have expressed anger and disgust to the media.

President Trump is yet again being called a "racist" by the leftstream media, Democrats, and some Republicans.  It all started when Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) gained the president's attention with comments about our Southern border and border agents. Trump responded, quite reasonably it seemed to me, that Cummings should look at his own district, of which Baltimore is part.

A gunman opened fire on the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, CA, on Sunday evening. He killed three people, including a 6-year-old boy, and injured 12 others. Sources told local media that a second suspect remains on the run, but no one has said anything about this person's role in the shooting.

Election security is no joke, and it should not be politicized and used as a weapon against political opponents.  And yet.  House Democrats on Thursday sent two "election security" bills to the Senate that they knew Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) would not take up and then screamed that McConnell doesn't care about election security.
