I have no idea why people call this controversial because there is nothing controversial about life and science. Life begins at conception. It's science and basic biology. Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed into law the bill "Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act." This bill "prohibit abortions in the state after a heartbeat is detected, as early as six weeks into a pregnancy."

Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has made no secret over the last two and a half years of his desire to impeach President Donald Trump. In fact, Green made impeachment the centerpiece of his seventh Congressional term. It remains the centerpiece for this term. He first spoke of it on the House floor on May 17, 2017 and has several times since in various floor speeches, statements, interviews, and on social media.

With the Gibson Bros v. Oberlin College lawsuit set to begin jury selection on Wednesday, I want to pursue the discussion of why this case hasn’t received more national publicity. Specifically, let’s look at why the national politicians, who crave attention on various issues that keep them elected, haven’t used this case to bolster their left or right viewpoints.

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll discovered that enthusiasm and Independent support for Democrats has gone down ahead of the 2020 elections. The poll found that "75 percent of Republican registered voters say they have high interest in the 2020 presidential election — registering a '9' or '10' on a 10-point scale — versus 73 percent of Democratic voters who say the same thing."

A few weeks ago, we reported on the historic flooding in Nebraska that swamped part of Offutt Air Force Base. The rains have been unrelenting. The Mississippi River has hit flood levels for over a month.
The Mississippi River has been at major flood stage for 41 days and counting, and this week a temporary wall failed, sending water rushing into several blocks of downtown Davenport, Iowa.

2020 presidential candidate Robert O'Rourke became the latest Democrat to call for Congress to begin the process to impeach President Donald Trump after the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report. From The Dallas Morning News:
"We're finally learning the truth about this president. And yes, there has to be consequences. Yes, there has to be accountability. Yes, I think there's enough evidence now for the House of Representatives to move forward with impeachment," he said in an interview with The Dallas Morning News. "This is our country, and this is the one chance that we get to ensure that it remains a democracy and that no man, regardless of his position, is above the law."
