Back in May 2018, attorney Michael Avenatti published what looked like bank records related to President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, who in turn demanded the court force Avenatti to reveal his source. Avenatti claimed that Cohen lacked evidence that he received or distributed any bank records. At the time, Cohen represented Stormy Daniels in her case against Trump. Well, now an IRS employee has been charged with providing Cohen's information to Avenatti.

The prosecutors in the case against Empire actor Jussie Smollett released their bond proffer, which provides evidence that he filed a false police report. The prosecutors wrote that Smollett instructed brothers Abimbola "Abel" and Olabinjo "Ola" Osundairo to attack him, place a noose around his head, pour bleach on him, and also yell, "This is MAGA country!"

On February 21, 1969, a bomb planted by Rasmea Odeh and her co-conspirators from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine exploded in the SuperSol supermarket in Jerusalem, killing Hebrew University students Edward Joffe and Leon Kanner. A second explosive, timed to explode when first-responders arrived, was defused before it exploded.

We've been arguing for almost a year and a half that the Democratic field, with its angry, socialist and unlikable candidates, will end with Democrats begging and pleading for Michelle Obama to run to save the nation from four more years of Trump. Most recently I wrote how Michelle Obama’s Grammys Buzz – A reminder of the mediocrity of Democrat presidential candidates:

What a difference going on groveling apology tours can make for Democrats. Results from two recent Virginia polls show that Gov. Ralph Northam and AG Mark Herring have managed to survive the blackface scandals that rocked the state earlier this month. The sexual assault allegations against Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, however, have divided the state on his fate.

Authorities arrested US Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Paul Hasson "last week on weapons and drugs charges." The motion for pretrial detention revealed horrific details like how intended "to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country." The federal prosecutors described him as a "domestic terrorist" and "white nationalist" who kept a hit list of journalists and Democratic lawmakers.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, The Washington Post was a somewhat reasonable voice on matters of foreign policy, especially regarding the Middle East. Since it supported the nuclear deal with Iran in 2015, and fought Donald Trump's election the following year, its views have become increasingly marginal.

Empire actor Jussie Smollett turned himself into the Chicago Police Department early Thursday morning after the Cook County States Attorney charged him with a class 4 felony on Wednesday for filing a false police report. CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson said "Smollett paid $3,500 to stage the attack because he was dissatisfied with his salary." Smollett will appear in court at 1:30PM CT.
