Democrats have a real problem on their hands. Almost all of the energy is in the Bernie wing of the party, but rank and file Democrats are bothered by the fact that Bernie isn't even a party member.

The featured image photo above was released by the Office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. By releasing the photo, Merkel signaled that she viewed it as portraying her favorably. She was standing above Trump, with most of the other G-7 nations having her back visually (other than Japanese Prime Minister Abe).

On April 16h, Durham, North Carolina became the first American city to align a municipal public policy with the agenda of the virulently anti-Jewish and anti-peace extremist organization Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), which falsely blames Israel and American Jewish organizations for U.S. domestic police militarization and instances of police violence against blacks and other minorities in America, Demonization: Durham NC City Council bans police exchanges with Israel. As we discussed, in a statement which passed unanimously, the City Council of Durham imposed a total ban on police exchanges with “only one country in the world: the Jewish nation of Israel.”

The economy is moving in the right direction, with the unemployment rate the lowest it's been for 18 years and consumer confidence at "a 17-year high."  This is not good news for Democrats who are watching their midterm blue wave potentially dwindle into a sad little ripple. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is in a tough spot.   Not only is she too moderate for the Bernified Socialist Democratic Party and too radical for moderate Democrats running in red states, but she can't seem to figure out how to talk to or about an American people who are going back to work and who are experiencing growing consumer confidence.

One of the reasons I suspect President Donald Trump trolls the mainstream media and progressives so much is that it provides cover for his elite team of regulatory snipers. Among the most effective of these regulation killers is the Environmental Protection Agency's Chief Administrator Scott Pruitt, whose rollbacks of Obama-era insanity make him a YUGE target for green justice activist and the #Resistance. This week, the anti-capitalist agitators of Occupy Wall Street doxxed Pruitt by twetting his private Tulsa, Oklahoma address.
