A possible trade war continues to brew as China proposes its own tariffs on American goods after President Donald Trump's administration released a list of 1,300 Chinese exports it plans to target with tariffs. Despite this action and concerns of a trade war, Trump insists we cannot lose said war because we're already "$500 billion down."

After a series of fatal stabbings involving migrant attackers, the German police union has called on the government to introduce tougher laws against stabbers. According to Germany's national police trade union, or DPoLG, "young Arabs" were importing the culture of carrying knife into the country.

Information came out about the YouTube shooter overnight that will surely make the story disappear. The shooter was an Iranian-born female who held anti-capitalist, animal rights views. She used a pistol, not an AR-15. It also looks like the police may have been able to prevent the shooting. Nasim Aghdam, who came to America from Iran with her family in 1996, injured three people at YouTube headquarters before she killed herself. Her dad told numerous outlets that he warned police "she might be headed to YouTube because she 'hated' the company." Police confirmed they interviewed Aghdam Tuesday morning...and let her go.

Paul Manafort has moved to have the October 27, 2017 Indictment, and subsequent Superseding Indictment, dismissed on the ground, among others, that Robert Mueller has exceeded the authority granted him on May 17, 2017, when he was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The argument is that the indictment of Manafort for business dealings is unrelated to and took place years before 2016 Russian election interference and alleged collusion.

The confrontation at the Gaza-Israel border during the so-called "Great Return March" last Friday reportedly resulted in 18 deaths of Palestinians, at least 11 of whom have been identified as Hamas, Islamic Jihad or other terror military members. When more information becomes known, it is likely to result in all or almost all of the dead being terrorists. See my prior post for details, PHOTOS: Most Palestinians killed at Gaza border clash were terrorists.

Remember that awful omnibus bill the government passed last month? The backlash was swift and strong. Apparently, lawmakers listened because reports suggest Trump and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) have started to look at ways to slash spending from the $1.3 trillion bill.

Last fall, we featured California reporter Katy Grimes' book, California's War Against Trump, which chronicled the regulatory and legal volleys that the state's politicians has lobbed against President Trump since the day of his historic election. Now President Trump is turning the tables on the Golden State #Resistance. This weekend, we noted that the EPA was looking to reverse directions Obama-era fuel economy standards for cars. One of the concerns about the new proposals is compliance with California's more stringent standards, based on green justice "science".

Over the weekend, Fuzzy blogged about a caravan of hundreds of Central Americans crossing over into Mexico in an attempt to cross America's border. The people want to apply for asylum or slip into the country illegally. At first, Mexico didn't do anything to stop them, but officials decided late Monday night to disband the caravan. The government will allow disabled people and pregnant women to stay. The others must leave.
