Last week, Scott Pruitt, EPA Administrator, stated he intended to form a ‘red team’ to debate climate science.
“U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt is leading a formal initiative to challenge mainstream climate science using a “back-and-forth critique” by government-recruited experts, according to a senior administration official. The program will use “red team, blue team” exercises to conduct an “at-length evaluation of U.S. climate science,” the official said, referring to a concept developed by the military to identify vulnerabilities in field operations.

A New York City police officer and mother of three was assassinated in her vehicle this week. The city also graduated a new class of police officers. None of that seems to matter to Mayor Bill de Blasio who left town to be with left wing protesters at the G-20 conference in Germany.

The 9th Circuit just issued an Order denying the State of Hawaii's Emergency Motion for an Injunction. For details on the motion, see our post earlier today, Hawaii seeks injunction from 9th Circuit to halt Trump application of SCOTUS Travel Ruling. The Court issued its Order without even waiting for the Trump administration to respond, and was issued by the same panel of Judges as decided the original appeal, which the Supreme Court substantially overrode. The full 9th Circuit Order (pdf.) is embedded below.

A Michigan labor union is less than happy with a group of hungry goats they claim are taking jobs from unemployed union members at Western Michigan University. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, a 400-member strong union, filed an official grievance claiming, "the work the goats are doing in a wooded lot is taking away jobs from laid-off union workers."

The local Philadelphia theater company Lightning Rod Special has announced a new play it will debut in August...a musical comedy about abortion. From Philadelphia Magazine:
The abortion musical has its roots at the Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training, where [co-creator Alice] Yorke and the co-creators studied. Yorke says it was there that she developed a character of an “irate gun-toting fetus running around and shouting about how it would kill anyone who tried to hurt it.”

Last night a District Court judge denied the State of Hawaii's emergency motion to "clarify" how the Trump administration is applying the Supreme Court's ruling on Travel Order No. 2. See my post last night, Judge Denies Hawaii request to halt Trump admin interpretation of SCOTUS Travel Order ruling. The District Court judge refused to consider the request to "clarify" his prior injunction, telling the parties to go to the Supreme Court if they want a to interpret the Supreme Court's Order. Today Hawaii filed its appeal (pdf.) in the 9th Circuit. A full copy is embedded below.

Riots have erupted in Hamburg in the backdrop of the G20 Summit -- a meeting of world leaders representing the leading economic powers -- that began early today. Around 100,000 left-wing activists and anarchists have reportedly descended on the city to protest the summit. Before the summit could even begin, ninety police officers were injured in the clashes with rioters. A “central part of Hamburg has been transformed into a fortress” reported Germany State-run DW News.

*This post will be updated as more information comes out.* President Donald Trump met privately with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany. At first, media thought Trump would not bring up accusations that Russia interfered with our presidential election in 2016. But after the two hour meeting ended, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that is the first topic Trump brought up.

We have been covering the ongoing Palestinian attempt to expunge the Jewish connection to Jerusalem and Hebron, as part of what properly should be called a Cultural Jihad against the Jews. This Cultural Jihad demonstrates that the Palestinians are not interested in peace, instead clinging to religious war. So what is happening has implications far beyond the historical sites themselves. The latest is that UNESCO voted today to declare Hebron's Cave of the Patriarchs to be and "endangered" Palestinian site.

As President Donald Trump continues his second international trip this week, it appears G20 climate change proponents are faltering at their attempts to isolate him after the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord.
“Huge efforts are underway now to make sure as many countries as possible hold the line and compensate for America’s withdrawal by redoubling their efforts. How far this goes, I have my doubts,” said Dennis Snower, president of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a leading German think tank advising the European Commission ahead of the summit meeting.

The left is eating its own again. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, hired bikini clad women to hand out non-dairy treats to the crowd at Wimbledon. Some feminists objected angrily, claiming the organization was objectifying women.
